This game had so much promise.
I'm not a fanboy, love all consoles but all fans of consoles are bias and it's hilarious to watch people do corporate work for multi billion dollar corps , just look at this thread and people skate NG over layoffs and the cancelation of perfect dark lol
Still my least favorite AC game and I'm a hardcore fanboy, uninstalled about half way through. Traversal and the map where a nightmare, the story was by far the most boring shit I've ever tried to slog through. Very disappointed, with that said glad it did well because fuck the racist idiots.
well yeah, CD project has never delivered a game they promised.
Wonder if they'll release the concept and production artwork from this..
Worse than Mirage?
I hated Valhalla, but at least I eventually finished that. Mirage was terrible to me, I uninstalled after 5-6 hours.
Mirage is one of the better ones recently since they returned to the older formula and actually had good free running. Mirage had a Shakey launch but once they got it fixed it was very good. Valhalla was pretty good as well it just suffers from the same thing all the rpg light AC games have suffered from, tons and tons of bloat missions to make the game artificially big.
One of the main things I can't stand in shadows is the overall world design, unless you follow roads the amount of times you'll find yourself in thick Forrest where you can't see 2 feet in front of yourself is insane, it's just a big empty lifeless world, and the story is paint by numbers boring, also the English voice acting is laughable(except yasuke) every game gets further and further from what the old games brought to the table in the first place.
Reading the map and maneuvering through it was the biggest turn off at first. Once I learned to read the map with the clues they give you, use the scouts and use the Follow Read with the horse it became much easier for me. The story of Yasuke is the reason I keep playing. Hopefully they will go into more of his past. He speaks on it occasionally in the dialogue. Trying to stay away from the online spoilers. I just now started playing The Last of Us and God of War, caught them on sale. Those two game been occupying my time Lately. Will finish AC soon.
The money men stepped in when they wanted to buy Activision. Its just all Microsoft now. I wouldn't be surprised if they lose OD as well.
These the most frustrating titties known to man. How she have them all the way out and you still can't see nothing. How the fuck is this happening? Shit is upsetting.
