For some reason I feel that current players shouldn't speak on current players the way KCP is.

Especially a player like KCP

And everyone's definition of a superstar's different.
Superstar is definitely thrown around to loosely; I don’t like it if current players say shit and it’s out of hate and not out of real critique. If you gonna say something about a player it should be backed up and make sense…

I agree it's definitely hate and usually not a critique. I'd need to see the entire conversation to see the basis, but right now KCP's looking bad.

And everyone has a definition of a "Superstar" but here's mine.

1. People buy your jersey.
2. People buy your shoes.
3. You're popular and well known off the basketball court. And people who aren't huge basketball fans know your name and who you are.

5. And number 5 whice is probably the most important, people "Want" to see you play.

If you're on tv people are excited to see you play, and if you're in they're city they buy tickets just to see you play.

There's aren't many of those in the NBA.

But what KCP's talking about is on-court related. And both Donovan and Tyrese could average 25 ppg, now averaging the 8 rebounds could get shaky.

My definition of a superstar is:
The ability to lead on and off court
Main attraction
One make everyone around them better
No matter what a team tries to do it doesn’t matter
The gravity that said player has makes it easier for other players to be and do them
Value you have created in wins money is undeniable
And that player wins which is the most important

And yea I didn’t watch kcp either so I don’t know the context. But him saying they ain’t superstars well duh; there’s like maybe 4 in the league lol lol, so I assume he’s saying it out of hate…

Maybe or trade someone that’s getting paid close to his amount like jimmy butler for example
Yeah but then at that point why would Lakers want someone worse then LeBron or get paid as much but yeah I was thinking someone with a big deal of top I can think of Jimmy and Beal but lakers would be fools

Gave this nigga away I don’t like this move for Rockets wish yall would’ve called Mavs first….Wiz gonna be ass but in a year or two we might be wondering why the fuck we let them compile all this talent up lol. They just need one or two of them to be stars…Sarr has potential and then another guy…

its gonna be interesting because LBJ has a lot of power with the no trade clause; I think he should have signed a deal that made sense for him to trade or just opted out of his deal and left; but then he would not have gotten 50 plus million...

I can definitely agree with all of that!

I mean I get it. He is 40 and has accomplished everything. Only thing left to do is what catch Jordan? I think his legacy cemented at this point. Another title does nothing for him IMO. Winning one at his age and being the focal point is probably a elite club with only him in it.

I don't think he has any power now that he opted in. Even with the NTC, the Lakers aren't a shitty organization that would trade a legend to a place he didn't want to go. They've never done their legends like that. NTC would only be relevant if he was washed or Bradley Beal.

He might have been able to pressure Jeanie to be traded where he wanted to go and hurt the Lakers, but not Mark Walters. He has no loyalty to Bron.

Jeanie is still running the team lol; not Mark...

Kobe Magic Tim got 5; MJ 6; It looks like he wants to catch them at this point; He aint catching MJ though...

Yes until she does some shit he doesn't like. Same with Grousbeck still being governor of the Celtics. Nobody is paying 5 billion & not have final say. Jeanie lost that right when she sold the team. She's just governor for the time being.

I wish they kept him until the trade deadline to see if he would buy in. They should have at least got one protected 1st round pick for him . Cam has the talent, but his issue is between the ears, he just isn't an Ime type of player.

His game also needs a little tuning. It's a heavy diet of pull-up threes or bullying himself to the basket & nothing else. He has tunnel vision and doesn't have any midrange game yet.

Rockets could regret moving him but at least he goes to a team that'll give him minutes.

Bro, its in the agreement of the sale; she is to remain governor of the team; that means she is in charge of the team; that was part of the sale terms; Mark doesnt run the Dodgers either; I dont think he wanta ts run any of the teams; he moves like he wants good people that know what they are doing, running the teams; he just wants to package the teams together and make a killing....

Can't be 40, sign for the max then complain that he doesn't have enough help.
