DRAKE - WHAT DID I MISS? LIVE PREMIERE

What's up with the gun imagery? That shit corny as fuck :smh:
Next time, there's mass gun shooting in Toronto, what is he gonna say? "Put the guns down. Stop the violence."? :smh:
Needed something to compliment the smoking bullet holes.

A lot of haters on here. 10 years from now who's songs do you think will still be playing on radio and in the clubs? Drake>Kendrick.
Lmao!
Fuck both of these lame ass dudes. They’re both ass!
But Aubrey is 10x more ass!
You like Aubrey’s music?!
You’re either a bitch or gay as fuck

You guys are trying to reason with a dude with hurt feelings. Musically, Drake is a broad at this point. He's going to have to figure it out on his own. Once a dude with hurt feelings starts to think the whole world is against him, he ain't listening to no one but himself.

Heavy bars from the OG.

Respectfully I disagree with one part Chickito.

Especially as an industry vet yourself.

Being petty holding grudges forever ain't got no gender.

And I would argue its MEN who usually can't let sh*t go

And will take a minor slight to the grave or to the penitentiary.

And we can start naming a WHOLE lot of names if you want.

We can start with 50

And got about 1000 more.

That's my point

I stopped throwing around 'female" as an insult the more I had to cut off dudes and really cut down my circle.

And noticed there was more women with honor and integrity as opposed to men.

Men and women both can be pure sh*t and loyal soldiers.

Sidebar: Drake should have NEVER EVER started talking TOO slick and critical on women. They would have stayed loyal forever.

Same.

My favorite battle was Jada verse Beans. Just two pure lyricist going at it delivering crazy metaphors.

^^^^

Slept on classic

That also could have been an actual blood bath if cooler heads ain't prevail and try to squash that sh*t immediately.

That's also what's missing in the modern hip hop

OGs A&R and just smart people who actually care.

Kendrick is ass? Fuck outta here
Nigga, Kendrick is super ass!!!
Have you heard that bullshit he got out with Sza?!
Never understood the hype with either of these lame ass, nonlyrical fags.
However, Kendrick is better than Aubrey… Still lame though.

The beat is hard but hi subject made it corny, especially with the guns. If he would have just spit bars and talked about how racist the world is, he’ll Trump gave him enough material for him to do damage on that topic.

He needs to show growth and stop acting like a kid trying to show he street.

Your boy super lucky Kendrick didn't get at him during his first 5 years in the game. Cause now he's made enough bread a.k.a FUCK YOU MONEY to continue to do questionable shit ride off in the sunset and dive into his vault full of gold coins like scrooge mcduck

Neither one is ass in my opinion. Drake is just a popstar and he's corny. Kendrick has his own style but he's definitely not non-lyrical. You just making some shit up at this point.

he aint my boy they call him the boy apparently. I am capable of liking them both I know that surprises many. I don't know about all that 5 years stuff. Everyone hates Drake today so they gonna try revisionist history but I got dudes on here dick riding Kendrick NOW but posted mad hate on HIM on THIS very board NOT that long ago.

this all cyclical bro. They build you up to hate you to love you again. I seen dudes going on hungry strikes for Puff of all people.

Comedy Central

Aubrey just needed to take some time off cause the King's reign is far from over. That boy just needed to chill.

You see Cole tried to pop out? and QUICKLY went back to biking in Prospect Park till all this was REALLY over

Then again?

What the f**k do I know? This a billionaire dealing with millionaires. we talking about someone with access to the BEST crisis managers lawyers agents experts etc. etc. at his disposal. THEY know WAY more than ANY of us about all this soap opera. Could ALL THIS just be a coordinated production? Cause so far? EVERYONE is profiting from engaging in all this mess... except me.

So who the fool?

Pop/Rap music artists rarely have long heydays because as they get older so does their audience. If they want to stay relevant they have to become more mature with their work. Very few can or do. And those are very, very good musicians/performers.
In this guy's case he made a number of missteps. Not writing much of his own stuff means he's not really in touch with the material or the target. Then he pivots to become the lover boy and opened himself up to enemy fire because that persona's lyrics got wack asf.
The pap finds out about his love life and people start laughing at him because he's acting like a 100% simp. So then he tries to be hard with people who are really hard and that doesn't go well. So he tries to be even harder with real gangsters and, well, we know how that turned out.

The moral of the story is stay in yo lane. He could still be on top if he'd done that. Now he's just a punchline and there ain't no coming back because his initial audience is years older and any possible new audience isn't interested.

Imagine being in a position as to where, you're at the top of the rap game. Now, I don't mean that as far as people that really love rap. I mean it in terms of money and popularity. You get so cocky that, you call out a Pulitzer Prize award winning artist constantly. He finally has enough of it, and basically destroys your entire confidence. It's a year later and this is all he can think about, day and night. Self destruction.

I ain't no hater but if this is what Drake is gonna be making for another 10 years then it for sure will be Kendrick.

I'm not even one of these dudes who hating on Drake.....I honestly expected more. He's literally making the same song once again.
