Too many of his shinanigans before the battle, and after the battle were self inflicted. In hip hop, artist have been given a wide berth when it comes to them finding themselves and navigating their way through the business and personal relationships. For better and for worse. Drake's moves have been in public view since the beginning up to now. And fans can be very forgiving. But man, how this has all played out, especially with turning into a legal situation, shit is just different now no matter where people stand now.
Some things you just can't unsee or u-hear in order for you to just bob your head and vibe out. And the content has to reflect the shift too. After the water retreats after flooding your house, you just can't go home and sit on the couch like that shit didn't happen. You got some major cleaning up to do first. And Drake ain't cleaned shit up.
