I almost lost my Medicaid because illegals, able bodied people with no children were sitting on it.
I got busted up on a job, and wish I could work. Disability carrier drop their payouts to make sure you can get on Medicaid. So you are living in abject poverty while you battle SSDI. When you do get approved if you are lucky, you lose Medicaid. You got two years before Medicare kicks in, and that is $177 plus deductible to get on Part B. Medicaid can cover that difference.
If this can boost solvency to the point where people with disability, women with children can have higher pay and still qualify I am all for it. Fuck your lazy ass and you deserve to die in the hospital with no coverage.

Another example is the elderly the most they can have is $2,000 for assisted living. Many hire estate attorneys to protect their assets and qualify. The most you can earn is $1700 if hurt on the job/disable. The Democrats can focus the program towards these vulnerable groups.
