Knicks Contacting South Carolina's DAWN STALEY about Coaching the Knicks

Listen, nobody hates a cac more than me, but you're wrong.
1. Tibs DID play ball
2. This bulldagger bitch is MARRIED to a cac, so fuck her too
3. I ain't a Knick fan so, go ahead, HIRE the Dyke so they can KEEP being the laughing stock of the NBA
4. Mark Jackson should be the coach, not a cac lovin' butch from women's college basketball

I don’t care who she married and Thibidough didn’t play pro ball and played on some small college team. Knicks should hire Mark Jackson honestly but he reminds me of Doc Rivers , he won’t ever win shit

Mark more likely would’ve won if they didn’t remove him and got Steve Kerr… mark had curry when he had weak ankles.. so he never really at full potential than

But she goes home and eats cac pussy every night
#MakesSense

You must not have voted for Kamala if you care that strongly about who leadership is fucking and sucking at night.

There were Black Panthers and Civil Rights leaders that fucked with white women, you know...and still changed society so that you could post on the net about an overqualified Black Woman leading presumably your NBA team.

I WISH she was coaching my NBA team.

Dogz, you went from "He ain't play ball" to "Yeah, he played but it was a small school" LOL
Phil Jackson played for University of North Dakota, he still played!?!?
He been coaching for 45 years. Yeah we know he a cac but the man knows Basketball..stop it.
He's the 4th leading ACTIVE coaches in wins. Nothing to sneeze at.
imo it's weird to think a bulldagger, cac lovin women's college coach would be better than him, but to each his own.

Well I did, cause ANYTHING is a step up from CHUMP.

You talking about "Black Panthers" like it's supposed to make me feel different...LOL
IDGAF, you lay with them dogs, you're a dog. period, don't give a fuck WHO you are
Can't be preaching AGAINST them during the day and kissing one at night. Fuck That

Just a reminder real quick, I dunked on Marbury at the Rucker

Once again, Dr. Fiction / Dr. Tranny brings his sexuality into a thread about sports.

The posters already know you are full of shit because Coach Staley is so-called black, not Asian. You want nothing to do with her.
Calm down faggot he mistyped. It wasn't a mating call.

Give a solid gig to be fired after one year fucking with the The Knacks?

Even Dolan knows better than to fire a woman let alone THAT one after one year.

It's gonna be fully guaranteed and definitely over $12 a year probably 4 year deal? We talking almost more than double her current deal.

She will be a pioneer. If she wins?

It's INSANE. if she fails? Knicks and Dolan get all the blame.

And ANY and EVERY college program will sacrifice virgins to get her to come back.

I see it as a win win.

But I also dont trust the Knicks either so I get it.

Knicks, Knicking
They fired Tibs for THIS SHIT?!?!?!

In a groundbreaking development for professional sports, Dawn Staley is reportedly in contention for the New York Knicks head coaching job, potentially making history as the first female head coach in a major men’s professional sports league.

On Saturday (June 28), Knicks Fan TV reported that Staley had emerged as a candidate and is expected to interview with the franchise amid its ongoing search to replace former head coach Tom Thibodeau, who was dismissed following the Knicks’ 2024 season. Thibodeau had led the team for five seasons.

Staley’s résumé is among the most decorated in basketball. She has served as head coach of the South Carolina Gamecocks women’s team since 2008, leading them to three national championships and seven Final Four appearances.

Her reputation as a leader and tactician has placed her at the forefront of coaching excellence at both the collegiate and international levels.

Before her coaching career, Staley was a standout player at the University of Virginia, then spent eight seasons in the WNBA with the Charlotte Sting and Houston Comets.

She began her head coaching journey at Temple University, where she coached for eight seasons prior to joining South Carolina.

If hired, Staley would break a significant gender barrier in professional sports. While women like Becky Hammon, Teresa Weatherspoon, and Lindsey Harding have served in assistant coaching and developmental roles in the NBA, none have yet taken the helm of a men’s pro team.

Staley’s candidacy has already generated buzz across the basketball world, with fans and analysts alike lauding the Knicks for considering a coach of her caliber.

Her blend of player experience, championship pedigree, and proven leadership could signal a bold new era for the Knicks—and professional sports at large.
I’m cool with this. She’s a good coach

It’s that time of the decade where Mike brown gets hired.. time for him to get free money by signing a 4-5 yr contract..completely fuck up the Knicks for the next 2 yrs get fired and get free money for the next 2-3 yrs after that..come on Mike brown you on the clock

Hope she gets it and wish her the best. I’m against women getting positions because of politics, but Dawn Staley actually earned it. It’s good to see a black woman be the first head coach in a major sport too. A large part of me feels that the players will have a problem listening to a woman and adjusting to the coach not being in the locker room, but players have been listening to old CACs who rode pine in the NBA and NFL for years so it might work.

Yeah that’d be dope.

But it looks like they’re gonna hire Mike Brown as a seat filler until they find coach that they actually want though.

One example is sportscasters. Years back they had white women commentating who were trying to use slang and it looked forced. It was obvious that they were in the position because they were women. As I said in my post, Dawn Staley actually earned it and i'm glad to see that she might be getting the shot. I'm surprised this opportunity is going to a Black woman. Its historic if it happens.

Lmaooo didn’t I say it was that time in a decade where Mike brown gets hired for 4-5 yrs, gets fired after 2 than collects free money the next few yrs…let’s go Mike brown do nothingness as far as improving the team, make questionable decisions and have an early exit in the playoffs..come on brown I believe in you

Hey, you can I have your opinions and I'll have mine, and that's ok. Not looking to convince you.
Yes, I judge people by who they Marry. Tells a LOT if you pay attention
If you feel comfortable being led by a gay black woman who eats cac pussy every night that's cool. I respect that, do you
bish niggaz that never had a father around are used to bring led by women so this is par for the course.

Can anyone make the argument that they'd be against a Black Male coach that had Dawn's pedigree, simply because he had a white wife?

Dawn Michelle Staley (born May 4, 1970) is an American basketball coach and former player who is the head coach for the South Carolina Gamecocks women's basketball team. A point guard, she played college basketball for the Virginia Cavaliers and spent eight seasons in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), primarily with the Charlotte Sting. Staley also played on the United States women's national basketball team, winning three gold medals at the Olympic Games from 1996 to 2004, and was the head coach of the team that won an Olympic gold medal in 2021. She is the only person to win the Naismith Award as both a player and a coach.

After becoming South Carolina's head coach in 2008, Staley rebuilt the Gamecocks into one of the top women's basketball programs. During her 16 seasons, she has led South Carolina to nine SEC regular season championships, nine SEC tournament championships, eight Sweet Sixteens, six Final Fours, and three NCAA women's basketball national championships, including the school's first in 2017 and a perfect season in 2024. Staley was inducted to the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2012 and the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013.
