You see this all over the place companies hiring underqualified clowns because they know they can pay them less, and it shows by their behavior on the job. Just a hot mess literally. Real man who would take their job seriously want more pay? Want more benefits and these companies don't want that so they'll hire anybody who will take entry-level pay and be happy with it for years. These so-called men ought to be ashamed of theirselves. Their families and if children should be embarrassed. Sanitation work is a good profession. I literally know sanitation workers who work in the field and make 75k. Don't know where this place is though, I'm sure they're not making more than 25k, maybe 30k and basic benefits.

The CEO of Waste Management has recently stated that they have robotic trucks in testing now. They have a few truck that are self driving with one man. He said they’ll get it to unmanned trucks in a few years once they perfect the geo location of the cans. He hinted at the cans being able to roll themselves to the truck to get dumped. The only issue they are having is streets lined with cars, but they can pay off a politician and make it illegal to park on trash days like NYC.
The video mentioned a base salary of 42,000. A New York City police officer’s base salary is around 45,000, so the sanitation worker and the police officer’s salaries are comparable as city employees. However, we both know that with overtime and other incentives, their actual earnings are closer to six figures.
