It's the perfect environment for that kind of shit. Most malls are gun free zones so criminals know there's a good chance that whomever they target won't have any means to have any chance at defending themselves.

Well aware, just isn't the norm for there. High end malls like that in the past usually don't play that. Especially out here, they know everyone practically carries. It's just a sad product of the times and economy, post Covid. They, I'm sure probably lost a lot of their typical clients swapped for the IG influencers or social media faking the funk type.
