A dumb chick being emotional fucking up her connections. Why would Tim need to steal any music?
Timberland has been listening to people's music online for several months now and was suppose to be giving them advice whether it was good or bad. Basically giving the impression that he's trying to help new artists. Well evidently that hasn't been the case. Like I said I don't know the whole story yet. So I personally will refrain from calling anyone dumb or emotional.
Tim is helping them. Some people are just ungrateful and got a fucked up perspective. Some people want a Grammy winning producer to help them with their beats or connect them with artist that they never would have been able to get close to and expect not to cut Tim a check is crazy.
If you are an artist and Tim takes time out to work on your skills and you mad you have to cut a check is wild.

Most of these so called new producers don’t even play an instruments, DJ, or let alone read music. W/o a computer program they wouldn’t be who they are. In a verses battle it’s not many producers that could go track for track against Timbo.
Especially if we talking about producing for artist from different genres of music and not just hip hop. The Neptunes might be the only ones.

It’s nearly impossible to keep up with demand once you blow up. You don’t have the time or creativity to keep making hit after hit for years on end. Before you could put out an album every year or two and not lose interest. Now days you need one hit every damn month or people forget who you are. It’s not humanly possible to be that creative so producers buy less known or no name producers exclusive rights of a track and slap their name on it.
I know the nigga who produced I get high. He’s from Atlanta. Swizz just took the track and added his own distinctive drums he uses on every song but this is obviously NOT a Swizz beat. He can’t sample like this.
It’s why the Neptunes are geniuses to be able to create so many hits and that unique sound for years on end and over 50 smash radio hits
Neither was Quincy Jones. Shit he didn’t play the guitar for MJ’s “Beat It” Slash from Guns N Roses did that. But guess what that muthafucka Quincy Jones was the producer of the song regardless.
Shoot even Rick James, who was a talented musician. I mean he could play a lot of instruments, but even he didn’t play every instrument of his songs, but he was the leader as far as creating the song, songwriting, mastering, etc. Same goes for Prince, R. Kelly, Curtis Mayfield etc etc.
Just think about the careers that Timbaland help create or revitalize. That’s what a music producer does not a muthafucka who plays some chords and makes a couple cute beats on an MPC.

Not nearly the same thing Quincy jones actually did make shit . Timbaland sits in the studio, loads up shit other people did and works with a team of people to create the song. Missy Elliot was his main song writer/producer. Timbaland is basically Dj Khalid . I know it’s heart breaking but this is the reality of it . Quincy jones comparison is a terrible one because Quincy plays a ton of instruments and had his own group and produced the entire thing. Quincy jones actually made Billy Jean.
There’s a reason Devonte Swing and Tim had beef all those years. Timbaland jacked his entire style
Jermaine and Kanye actually make the shit . They legit. Kanye does bring in people to play keys and bass etc sometimes but he does have actual production skills. All those early college drop out beats were mostly Ye with some keyboard help. Jermaine Dupris is a dope producer

what is your PERSONAL distinction between the two?
Producer gives the direction, tells the artist how things should be said or sound over a track. Help with the arrangement of everything. Beat makers usually just make the beat , sell and have no hands on the actual song creation.
In your opinion lets keep it hip hop who are your top 5 PRODUCERS?
And if you got time your top 5 hip hop BEATMAKERS i guess they can overlap.

It's not the first time. The first one I remember is when he was accused of stealing the sample for Nelly Furtado's Do It in 2007. That one ended up going to court but eventually got dismissed due to a lot of back and forth on if the sample was copyrighted in the US or not.
