Music News: Pusha T - Notorious B.I.G. Was the Greatest Rapper Who's Ever Lived

Morning truth bars.

Which is FINE. Ain't never gonna change.

But there used to be more BALANCE and recognition that those things WERE frivolous and not to be taken seriously they were time wasters

And when it was grown up time? It was grown up time. No one WANTS to be grown up anymore.

We screaming loyalty integrity in criminal enterprises (where it really never existed lets be honest) but no loyalty and integrity in business or government or medicine?

There are more REACTION videos than actually good music or smart honest opinions. Thousands of songs are loaded onto DSPs every day and they are BAD

And streaming is paying out half pennies?

Music Podcasts don't interview musicians? EVERYONE has an opinion? But are completely uneducated and uninformed?

And you get MORE popular the more IGNORANT you appear?

And this beef sh*t just brings the worst out of EVERYONE.

But it is all about ENGAGEMENT now... and nothing else.

In closing?

Ak groomed a white kid on livestream and no one gives a sh*t?

I give up.
Post bar of the week!!

Out of all the issues in the world, in Hip Hop and with the celebration of the return of Malice to the Clipse.

Push decides to diss a person, who by my knowledge isn't really a friend of his but more of an associate for being two faced?

And this is the focus of the album rollout?

Man this took me back.....Geesh this song and entire mixtape took me back......I needed that

What a time....

On another note, glad to see Don Cannon doing big things now.....

I'm trying to keep this sh*t focused

We arguing over Oh Boy

Forgetting Jim Jones said some ridiculous dumb sh*t and taking a cowardly troll way out and we as a culture need to stop accepting that

It's not like some onspiracy shit.

#1 - The obvious draw/sketch = art
#2 - The one you mention, draw your weapon when things get hectic
#3 - The Philly slang. In the way he framed it, it would be the Philly version of pop off/crashout. "Yooooo, he drawed/drawled so hard. He just start swinging on niggas!" So replace "Cause niggas that I'm with like to draw when it's sketchy" with "Cause niggas that I'm with like to crashout when things look uncertain"

I keep using the slash because the pronunciation can be generational. In the 90s and 2000s we just said "Drawin." The 2010 kids said "Drawlin" with the L for whatever fucking reason." Today the kids say "Drawn" like it's just one syllable. Philly slang evolves I guess.
I still use that slang today when I see niggas doing dumb shit, I tell em you "drawlin", chiill out ak.

^^^^

He not real and apparently never wanted or claimed to be. And seems he just wanted acceptance from his idols. He sounds misguided

Again NO EXCUSES just understanding

He honestly probably didn't understand the bars or thought all this is soap opera. Which to be fair? Is understandable.

But what makes it difficult to defend like you said he is a HABITUAL LINE STEPPER.

So the meltdown didn't have drake verse on it? The like that record didn't have Kendrick?

It was ALWAYS just a coincidence?

Yeah okay.

Now we clear.

So if it ever happens again? They all allowed to crash out on you. Cool?

Travis should thank Push. Cause it should never happen again because of all this.

Yuuuck indeed.

But even if "Like That" didn't have Kendrick's verse......

The album was called We Don't Trust You. The You being Drake. I can give him a pass on not hearing the Kendrick verse, but he heard that song before Rolling Loud. And Travis has/had some soft of a relationship with Metro and Future. He at least knew what/who the album was about.. ..

As was stated earlier, dude is a habitual line stepper and you can only feign ignorance or be "conveniently" unaware of something only so many times.... like once or twice.... there's been like 4 such situations with this dude so far.....nah, nah fam.... he's on some bullshit

Damn.... Travis?

You on your own.

Slick Rick and Memphis Bleek and Lil Wayne all dropped albums back to back. THAT should be leading the hip hop conversation for OUR demographic.

Not beef sh*t.

Memphis bleek??

He still one hit away :roflmao:
I don't know how to feel about these statements. I've listened to Wayne and that was easily the weakest Carter album. I listened to the 1st 3 tracks on Slick Rick before throwing in the towel.

Did Memphis Bleek drop the hottest rap album of the week (by default)? Is this the world we're living in now?

I like that they making music. And they alive and well.

Wayne album wasn't the worst. I could make an award winning winning EP if you cherry pick 6/8 tracks

That intro, Hip Hop (my favorite) the Manny fresh track banned and a couple others . Yes overall disappointing

Slick Rick was too short to have any misses so that was a challenge. It also wasn't horrible. But I understand many not liking it.

Bleek production was solid very blueprint. I thought he should have had at least something that knocks. Lyrically he was great.

So yeah I didn't like any project straight through but each one had at least 3 tracks I would put on a Playlist.

Im good with that.

A lot of these new dudes can't even say that.

* I'm now a fan of Bigxtheplug.
