You act like the Rockets gutted their team to get KD. They couldn't run it back with Jalen especially after his performance in the playoffs. Dillon was replaceable because Tari & Jabari are better than him.
The Rockets kept their young core and only got rid of Jalen who did not deserve the usage he got on this team.
They need someone to because KD ain’t enough. The whole argument in the playoffs was the Rockets needed consistent scoring and while KD is an upgrade there’s still no threat to take them over the hump. Amen should be the 3…Jabari….i don’t know maybe 6th man…..I think they need a 2 guard honestly. But I know Rockets fans gonna feel otherwise lol.

Shit it’s too early for me to talk rankings if OKc the best then Rockets are in the same boat as last season. Not there. I’d keep making moves to improve the team. Defense got worse for sure.
For me it was about getting better. Rockets didn’t gut their team they should still be a playoff team I just don’t see how this gets them closer but I also think KD is a team killer so maybe I’m biased.

Yes they can he only got 2 years left but they would take a cap hit for sure. That’s why they don’t want too; but they should just to clean house! If I’m phoenix I’ll trade Jalen as well! I’m sure he could give them some major draft capital…
Rockets still have 2 of their unprotected 1st round picks. The Suns aren't going to be a playoff team anytime soon.
Imo it makes more sense to move Booker. The roster is in shambles. You might as well do a full rebuild.

I will say this, there is no more excuse. Can't blame Jalen now. If Sengun can't beat one on one defense, ALLLLLLLLLLL that blame goes on him now.
I think brooks defense is over stated; amen can replace green on the perimeter though
I like Jabari for me he is why I wouldn't have even traded for KD. Jabari just need time to develop.
Damn, that speaks volumes when the suns don't want you either. I believe whatever team he goes to, if he wants to be a starter, he'll be playing for the worst team in the league. Unless he traded to a good team, he'll be coming off the bench.
