That's the whole point.
Viable enough to take votes away and, over time, completely replace them.
Does anyone know why, after ten days, Iran remains a signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty?
It won't happen.
The two party system isn't really the problem.
A bigger problem for example is the fact that our "news agencies" are now allowed to act as 24 hour infomercials that spread propaganda and lies based on political affiliation without any regulation or penalties.
It gets even worse when you factor in social media, YouTube podcasts and blogs all of which actively misinform and energize uninformed and uneducated voters.
I can’t tell with any of these news twitter accounts which are legitimate. It’s hard to take these accounts serious.
An act of theater.
Trump’s big mouth had boxed him into a corner.
Iran wouldn’t play his game.
So he had to bomb Iran to save face.
He bombed two empty facilities that had been previously struck by Israel.
And he bounced six bombs off an indestructible facility (Firdos), claiming destruction despite the opposite being the case.
That’s it.
A “contained” strike.
A nothing burger.
And this is the man whose supporters call the greatest leader in the world.
He’s a national disgrace.

What Are Iran’s worst case scenario options?
1) Bombard every US base in Saudi/Iraq/Qatar/Bahrain with Short ranged ballistic missiles to kill whomever they can.
2) Mine the Strait of Hormuz. Declare a shipping embargo until the US is economically broken & a pariah for the attack. That won’t be hard.
3) Launch IRGC & Iraqi PMF commandos by the tens of thousands against Gulf states oilfields.
4) Call an all Shia Jihad against any and all Americans worldwide and spill their blood. Also overthrow the government of Iraq & radicalize all Shia.

-cybersecurity (CISA was recently gutted) & homeland security (HLS focused on immigration)
-Economic strength (oil prices and tariffs)
-Allied assistance and intelligence flow (we’ll need that now more than ever)
-Domestic intelligence (leadership at FBI/DNI)
