I'm asking myself the first part of that question right now.
The second part doesn't enter in world in any remote fashion, but the first part is quite intriguing.
I have the day off of work and I'm about to fire up the home theater and watch a movie.
I think Sinners is finally in downstairs. Would watching Sinners again be a good way to celebrate Juneteenth?

I have been celebrating as long as I can remember. My mother grew up in a small town close to Comanche Crossing which was the largest celebration in Texas for years. It was a perfect time for family reunion for many families and we didn't need some cracka to tell us it was ok....so we didn't get Juneteenth, we always had it.

I’m over 20 years removed from Black Studies so I’ve also been aware from sometime.

I’m in now way against those who celebrate Juneteenth but this year once again the hypocrisy shows its face.

As Trump gets rid of Pell grants, black studies and everything associated w black history….im kinda in my feelings this year.
