Exactly, which is why they be jealous of howie because he's good at drafting players.

“The growth that I’ve seen over the season, I was like, man, he really understands it. He’s a game wrecker. He can really do this all the time if he wants to. I think he really started believing in that. You see him trying to take that next step of being a leader. And trying to make sure he’s taking care of himself off the field. Just wanting to be accountable in all areas. We’ve been talking over the offseason and making sure that his mission is still the mission, trying to win another one. I don’t think anybody can stop him this year.”-Brandon Graham agrees with Jeremiah Trotter and Vic Fangio that Jalen Carter can be even better this year, getting a better grasp of the position he’s playing. Good podcast with BG on the younger defense this year.

Here's a article right here about the best drafting teams since 2014; in the first round.....

BEST

DALLAS COWBOYS

The Cowboys seem to draft extremely well when they don’t reach to fill a need. They wanted a cornerback in 2021, but the top two were taken before their pick rolled around, so they “settled” for Micah Parsons, one of the best edge rushers in the game. CeeDee Lamb is another home-run pick, while Tyler Smith looks like an excellent selection on the offensive line even though he was seen as a raw prospect at the time.

Leighton Vander Esch was just forced into retirement by injuries but, when healthy, was an outstanding linebacker, while both Zeke Elliott and Byron Jones had excellent seasons for the Cowboys.

The only clear negative in their drafting was Taco Charlton in 2017, with Mazi Smith too early to write off after a rookie campaign that saw him struggle to a 47.2 PFF grade.

Here's another about overall drafts.

4

Dallas Cowboys

99 TP / 47 DP

  • Starting seasons: 26
  • First-team All-Pro: 3
  • Second-team All-Pro: 2
Best picks: WR CeeDee Lamb, LB Micah Parsons, CB Trevon Diggs

The Cowboys are often maligned as underachievers, but owner/general manager Jerry Jones has stocked America’s Team with talent. Dallas has also advanced a few times in the postseason, but has yet to reach the NFC championship game since the 1995 season.

LIsted as #4 at drafting talent.

This why i be like don't listen to Stephen A or Skip Bayless but the Cowboys fans gonna get you right this summer.

Naw that approach ain't gonna work. You can't build a team one way. You need a good balance of drafting and free agency. You can't avoid the draft or avoid free agency. Now the Rams did but I wouldn't advise anyone to do that.

Micah shit was masterful. Traded down with the Eagles and got Micah Parsons and a 3rd rounder. Thanks to Howie Roseman we got Micah.

Cowboys draft well. Drafting ain't the problem. Because draft picks aren't always gonna hit but even the Cowboys hit at a higher rate than most. Their problem is they don't fill holes with vets. They want to use the draft strictly to fill holes and its not realistic.

Ok, but when has the cowgirls made it to the Superbowl with all that talent they've drafted.

Also, the eagles had the best OC & DC but everytime the eagles do great, teams want to take our OC & DC away from them because when the last time the cowgirls had that problem?

Reposting shit on Google isn't gonna change about what I said.

Nobody has done what Howie did to become successful building a team from top to bottom with the league trying to stop everything the eagles are good at.

Nigga you make one statement and get proven wrong and deflect to the Cowboys. Cowboys suck. We get it. Nobody said otherwise. Nobody said Howie was bad or none of this shit.

Where the hell you think Kellen Moore came from?

Where do you think Dan Quinn came from?

Lord have mercy….i see what you doing yeah you got it man….you got to champ.

I thinks this dude said it best....

This is also why teams passed him up. They didn’t want this circus around now granted Browns created the circus by drafting him after Gabriel. If you don’t have a qb that’s not an excuse. But if you someone with a qb1 I understand not wanting this shit. And when I say shit I don’t mean the picture because it looks like he just showing up for the youth at a camp or something. I mean all the outside noise.

Came to a organization that had better staffs and players along with the best QB & RB in the league.

I never got proven wrong because you seem to always have an excuse when I fire back asking what have ya team done for you lately.

Yes, I'm happy to witness my eagles winning 2 superbowls with me being alive to witness it.

I done witnessed Cowboys, Rangers and Mavs win in the Finals…it’s a good feeling.

You’ve been proven wrong on every Cowboys take. You say Cowboys only sign old niggas….our teams average age is a year apart..got proven wrong end deflect to Cowboys suck lol. All of your Cowboy takes are wrong and that’s ok you not a Cowboy fan. So I get it. I can’t tell a Commodes fan about their team better than they can.

The biggest problem with every single show talking about the Cowboys all the time is that people that watch the shows think they know the Cowboys.

My man even said that the Cowboys get flack because they talk so much shit and don't back it up, but the Cowboys don't really have any shit talkers on the team lol.

People DAILY make it seem like Cowboys fans say every year is our year and post those memes, when you and I know this fanbase doesn't trust the team and doesn't think the team will do shit.

So you have this imaginary Cowboys team and fanbase that people talk about because of clickbait and then you have the real team and fanbase that only fans know.

Another example of narratives - and this is NOT an attack on Jalen Hurts, it's just talking about reality. Jalen Hurt's record in the playoffs when his team doesn not get at least one turnover? 0-3. Jalen Hurts has never won a playoff game when his team didn't get a turnover. Then ask yourself, when is the last time the Cowboys defense got a turnover in a playoff game? But the narrative is that Dak just sucks lol.

I think that the Cowboys haters think if they crack enough jokes, post enough memes, keep blaming Dak for all failures, keep reminding them of their last SB win, etc... that they will magically turn into the Cleveland Browns or disappear from being discussed the most in media or lose the America's Team label, the 5 SB wins will go away or get forgotten, and propel their franchise to the most valuable sports franchise in the world.

They are hoping they have a situation like the Redskins had with Dan Snyder.

How do you spend your whole life hating one team more than you love your own team?

Now, I do encounter a lot of obnoxious and delusional Cowboys fans regularly, but its no different than any other team in the league that wants their franchise to win, even though they may only have 2 SB wins or less, and fail most seasons also.

The elite franchises have 4 SB wins or more. That is royalty.
