The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) said in a statement Thursday that Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans who were previously temporarily shielded from deportation will be emailed notices telling them to go.
The DHS said that more than half a million people from the four countries were allowed to remain in the US for two years under orders issued by former President Joe Biden.
The directive is expected to face legal challenges from opponents of the Trump administration's mass deportation programme.

ICE is out there fucking up a simple mission by arresting and deporting American born Citizens and people with legal status and deporting them. They're a stupid bunch. I get people saying this isn't our fight. The problem is that it's always our fight. We let one injustice slide and those of us in the know are keeping track on the residual impact of our collective silence and therefore we go out there to risk it all. I don't mind if we join the party a bit later bc Latinos need to feel some pain. The one thing that the pandemic taught me is that people needed to see a close one of theirs dead to understand the impact of covid. So, as fucked up as it is to lose your freedoms, due process, and get deported to a 'foreign country' as a citizen or legal resident... they need to understand that they're targets and to that I say - adios amigos. I'm tracking to join when lessons are learned. Y'all be safe and keep your head on a swivel.
