}~~~> Official 2024/2025 NBA Thread<~~~{ OKC Thunder NBA champs}

sloppy game from okc......they committed wayyyyy too many turnovers. got to give the pacers credit tho. ...they have played more composed down the stretch. like the first game in okc ....gotta question the coaching in the fouth. 1st game okc didn't have a big in the game down the stretch. this game they took shay off the ball.... letting other teammates bring it up. ....allowing the pacers to deny shay the ball and getting into their offensse pretty late. game 4 is huge.

I'm pulling for the Pacers...

Just so OKC can bring back KD and piss everybody off by joining his 2nd 60 win team... :yes:

Then new CBA is flat out dumb/ridiculous; its very bad for players! and also owners who care about winning first...
I feel the NBA set that new CBA up so there can be no more team dynasties. If the the team Is good enough 1 or 2 chips the most. After that It;s break your team up, unless someone Is willing to not ask for more money or take a pay cut like Brunson did, but that's rare.

Exactly.
GS was the last dynasty and that started during the old ownership model. And when the old white guy sold them to a investment group, the team immediately begin following the new owner model.

1. Build a shiny new arena (goodbye Oracle)
2. Win at least one more title (21' title)
3. Sign and trade key places away instead of renewing heavy contracts (Hey Klay, the weather in Dallas is really nice)

These new owners don't care about dynasties and aren't invested enough to eat multiple years of luxury taxes. They're in it to make as much money as possible in a decade and then start looking to sale.
