RIP....I have a friend from school who is battling breast cancer that has metastasized to her bones. She's now going to places she feared she wouldn't be able to afford in the future. Doctor gave her 5 years, she's on year 4.

Allegedly, she didn't do mammograms because she was afraid of radiation, and she chose holistic treatments instead of getting the tumor removed and doing chemo.

Some of it is lack of health insurance, nor not being able to pay the co-pay, and a lot of it is following all these quacks that say you can beat cancer by just eating better, and all Big Pharma wants is your money, not to cure you. Take potentially terminal illnesses seriously.
