Seems like it's lacking games
Doesn't matter Nintendo fans like myself know that at the end of the day buying the newest hardware means having the only console that will play the next Mario, pikman, smash bros, Mario kart, Zelda, pokemon, donkey Kong, Kirby, Splatoon, Metroid. Animal crossing ECT. those games are guaranteed every generation and for fans that's more than enough.
You don't get tired of them same games ?
They're not the same really, big difference between super Mario world and super Mario wonder alone, but to be more direct no, I don't get tired of those franchises because they've consistently innovated and evolved over the years and are always quality over quantity.
And that's just mentioning the usual suspects, the switch had so many games and sleeper hits.
I like how in the new DK game Pauline is effectively turned into a child, and watch that make her as big of a sex symbol with Japanese men born in the 80's and she was when they had her as some kind of faux cabaret singer

Bought this for my kid because she crushed in school this year. She played Animal Crossing for a bit and never touched it again after she cleaned her room and found her DS. I sparked up the new Mario Kart last night and was getting cooked.
Man, I haven't seen one in stores and to be honest, m kids haven't even bothered me into getting one for them. My son's birthday is in August, if I see one I'll get it, but I haven't heard any of my there kids mention "Switch 2" in this house since May.

Yeah we have one. I've just been playing Mario Kart on it, and my daughter played Animal Crossing for a bit. She got back into her DS, so she's been enjoying that. $500. I could have done without it.

LMAO I just clicked on that link above and submitted the invitation request myself because fuck it....
My son modded his and his sister's DS and I swear he plays that more than anything. Well that and his PC. We have damn near every console in this house, except for the XBOX Series X (have the XBOX One S) but the PS5 and everything else collects dust....which is why I'm in no rush to get the Switch 2. If I see it in the wild I'll grab it for later (birthday or Christmas gift) but I'm not hunting one down in stores.
I got the Amazon invite ... debating on ordering, I'm taking my fam to Puerto Rico and Amazon shipping has it arriving between the day before we leave and a few days after....smh. Might have to have my mom hang out at my house. Not trying to have packages sit on my porch.
I didn't even think of that. Thanks! I ordered it, and will have to have my mom pick it up, the pick up location only holds items for three days. smh. Fuck it, my daughter's birthday is on July 29th and my son's birthday is August 1st. They'll have a nice surprise waiting for them after our family trip.
I picked up the Switch 2 at GameStop today and canceled my order from Amazon. If cats are still looking for a Switch 2, check your local GameStop, they are carrying them and have many in stock. The GameStop rep at my store said they aren't making it public or advertising that they have stock but if you ask in store, they do. Beats waiting to get picked on the registry on Amazon.
I also picked up Donkey Kong, haven't gotten home yet but my kids are excited as fuck.
