Triple H doesn't know how to book Gunther in a non-title scene. I'm glad Jey dropped the belt because he ain't your weekly champion nor are his matches good enough to carry the brand, I just wish Seth cashed in on Gunther last night.

Jey got his WrestleMania moment winning the title and going on a little run with it, but he's not someone to be THE champion for a long run.
They had been discussing this match in Phoenix for weeks now so this was probably always the plan for him to drop the title.

I've noticed wrestlers are getting more time off nowadays (which is a good thing) to heal up and just get a mental health break to avoid burnout.
