Official 2025 NFL Discussion preseason edition!!!

So the lions were the underdogs that game? Did most people think commanders were gonna drop 45 points that game? Is this what you telling me

Everyone thought lions were gonna win and everybody thought they were pretty much an automatic Super Bowl representative.. no one thought they were gonna lose their first game in the playoffs at home.. people stay want to change the narrative once the smoke is clear

Apparently, you did not follow the situation, on either side.

Washington had a top 5 offense, facing a team with 10 or more defensive players on injured reserve.

They did not collapse, the entire defense was injured and they faced a top 5 offense.

I think the defense will be back healthy this season.
I mean even with all of that with them not being healthy, they thought they still had a chance, everyone wanted to see the eagles vs lions in the NFC championship game until the commanders stole their hearts and beat them.

Not to mention we lost our best DB and left over heart of our depleted defense on the 1st defensive play of the game to a broken arm

It's all just bullshit excuses, but I still believe Ben already had his eyes and mind on his new job in Chicago.

They are not going to forfeit a game because of injuries, they will still suit up and play.

But they were not confident.

They were basically, as confident, as the Eagles the season before, when they had all those freak injuries, and fell apart down the stretch, then won a SB the next season with a near 100% healthy team down the stretch.

Injuries make a difference. Look at the 49ers and Cowboys, both missing over 10 starters most of the season. They both always win 12 games when healthy, and top 5 offenses.

I know the games must go on regardless if a team has injuries or not but like I said, they really didn't take the commanders seriously because at the time Jayden Daniels was still a rookie and the lions thought they could beat the commanders to face my eagles at the time which didn't happen. Also, the lions messed up by not using the run game to their advantage which the commanders weren't good at stopping the run. They threw the ball way too much basically beat themselves and should've stuck with run game. The eagles were able to beat the commanders because of their run game because they knew the commanders couldn't stop saquon.

Lets not forget the commanders had a easy schedule as well. The eagles meanwhile had the hardest schedule and will have it again this season as well and they still was able to win the SB.

Yet, you want to say a team fell apart because of injuries when they basically made too many mistakes from fumbling and throwing interceptions because last time that I checked, the lions were neck and neck with the commanders in the playoffs until their dumb ass coach went away from what worked.

Having Chuck on that staff is going to work wonders for the Ravens....

Dude is good...So good when he was on the Pat McAfee show, listening to him helped me in fantasy and placing bets on what team defenses where going to do....
