I'm glad R-Truth came back making a surprise appearance to help Cody Rhodes along for some payback for them both with John Cena this time getting hit with the belt and losing the match. I wasn't expecting that.
The women's ladder match was better than the men's because it be too predictable on who would win the match since seth rollins has to be pushed which made sense for him to win money in the bank.

Both were the same. Naomi and Seth were both outside the ring for a long period of time towards the the, that's how you know who would win. Truth returning was predictable too, but I thought it would be later to cost Cena the belt.
I think a lot of us were mad when he got fired, nobody on this thread mentioned about him making a surprised appearance to get some revenge against john cena which is why I said it wasn't predictable.
Seth and Naomi weren't the only ones outside of the ring, so, it's not always cut and dry who win the ladder match with the women's since there's a lot of talent over there. Now with the men's seth is the bigger star than all the guys in that ladder match which they wanted to push to have him winning the money in the bank match.
I agree, nobody was expecting that because anybody saying it was predictable is lying especially when no one mentioned about it earlier on this thread.

This actually makes more sense than it being planned.
I think they saw the reaction to him leaving and knew letting him go would not only damage them but be a huge boost to AEW where he would have inevitably landed with an even bigger payday.
So they switched it up and made it a part of the story just like they did when they tried to force a Rock vs Roman match and the fans weren't going for it.
Either way good for Truth.
Its always good to see a brother winning especially when its a brother who appears to be a good dude.
