In an attempt to expedite matters you decided to ask Edgardo, who actually works construction if he would be available to help you out, since he has done work for you in the past.
After several attempts of trying to get in contact with Edgardo via telephone, you decided to take a quick trip upstairs and just ask him if he would be available to help you.
When you arrived at his place his girlfriend Daisy came to the door and invited you inside. She explained that Edgardo had just gone out to Brooklyn to see his mother and help her go food shopping.
You started to leave and Daisy said you could "chill" there for a minute and then asked you did you smoke or drink?
You told her that you didn't and then she went on to explain that Edgardo had been out of work for a few months (since Construction work is seasonal) and had been doing little "odd and end" jobs to try to make ends meet.
Daisy let you know that they had fallen behind on a few bills and she hated to ask you, but could you loan her $20 dollars. She told you that she could pay you back with interest probably within 2 weeks (you made the mistake of pulling out your wallet in front of Daisy and she must have noticed that you had a bit more than just $20).
The next thing you know, Daisy got up and sat right next you and started asking you personal question and wanted to know whether you had a girlfriend or not?
When you told her: "No, not at the moment."
Daisy moved in closer and said:
"We will have to change that."
You of course asked her did she have someone in mind for you as she began slowly taking off her clothing and she replied:
"Well, sort of."
