Movie News: Ryan Coogler & Michael B. Jordan - SINNERS - jim crow era vampire flick (SPOILERS OPEN!!!)

I bought the webinar that lasted 3 hours. I will figure out how to upload the zip file or if you want to support Anthony, you can buy it here

I remember that Buchwald case years ago.

I'm working on a screenplay now. I'm writing it for myself, but I'd love to share it with the masses.

So I told myself that if a studio/producer wants to buy it, I want something upfront and a small piece of the gross. I'm not for any shenanigans. If my attorney can't see my view and negotiate on my behalf properly, then he's not going to be my attorney.

Worse comes to worse, I'll figure out a way to produce it myself. They're not going to cheat me or my family out of shit. Independent is the way to go for me.

This was masterfully done. Like the lynching of Emmett Till, we didn't need to see that. We didn't need to see that in this movie, so the way Ryan Coogler had the event occurring in sound behind Delta Slim's words we experienced it without fully experiencing it, with our ears instead of our eyes which were transfixed on Delta Slim telling the story.

Showing that would have deeply impacted the rewatch value and Ryan Coogler knew that. Brilliant

$339M so far

You don't pay when you buy the ticket?
With the Regal pass you pay $20 a month whether you go to a movie or not. The studio makes money if you go months without going to the movies, but they have to pay if you actually go to movies.

Now I can use this once per day, And they don't expect you to see the same movie everyday. They expect you to see one movie a month, and if you go to more than one movie a month then they have to come out of pocket to buy the movie ticket.

Now, if I actually went to the movie theater to buy the ticket it would cost me nothing. I would just flash my Regal pass, they would scan it and I would walk into whatever movie I wanted to see. But since I'm doing it for my phone I have to pay a convenience fee of $0.50 with my credit card, which is no problem.

I have used the Regal Pass 22 days this month, 17 times for the movie Sinners, and 5 times for the movie Shadow Force, another Black movie. So if your average movie ticket is $14 I've contributed $308 while only coming out of pocket for $20 and the studio paid the rest

Ok, I get it. We have something similar here in France with the UGC Pass. You pay around 24 euros per month . That is more or less the equivalent of three movie tickets. It gives you unlimited access to the largest cinemas chain in the country. So you can go to as many viewings as you wish without restriction.
