but on a good day I might get $30/$15, most days I don't make shit.
I come in every day and do the best I can to make this thing seamless,
I have a plan in place to improve the board and maybe make a few dollars,
but it just takes time, I'm not a computer genius. just a regular guy.
Certain things need to be paid for. Outside expertise has to be paid for.
I might need to get the current server repaired or upgraded, that cost money.
Think about if for a second, I was asking $10 a year and most folks thought that was too much.
In 2025 dollars that comes out to $14.86 a year. I have a $15 yearly option and most members will not pay that.
In summary, I will continue my plan and hope for the best, if successful I'll be able to generate some ad money,
If not I did the best I can.

Even though i paid for the lifetime membership some time ago, I will also drop $20 later when I get to work. HNIC, you've been making this place work for decades and we appreciate you for that! My job has slowed down considerably since trump fucked the economy up... I'm making 70 percent of what I usually make, but I'm going to pitch in here and there to help you keep our favorite board alive.

The problems in the morning (6:15 EST) is the website backing up.
It usually last maybe 10 minutes,
I'm also concerned about the board just going down in the middle of the day.
On some occasions it's just a bunch of connections from Germany, India etc
I don't know how that works or why they are all attacking this server at the same time,
but in most cases that is the problem.
I'm going to talk to my ISP and see what he can do to get this website working better.
It is a problem and the performance has gotten worst.
I'll update you in this thread. Give me a few days.

Remember when HNIC first announced donations and there were alot of members worried about how much he would make off donations? I think we should all do a monthly subscription, from what i see the options are $8-$20 per month. I've been on the board since the 90s and it hasn't cost me shit but that 1 time I donated way back. Damn near 30yrs of free entertainment with no pressure......, I'm giving back.
