To me they were a shoe in for the sheuder sweepstakes.. they had metcalf and Pickens as their wrs.. rookie contract would’ve been cheaper for 4 yrs than to sign rodgers for 1 yr.. if he didn’t do what you need him to do you could easily draft someone next yr and maybe trade him.. it’s was way more positive drafting him instead of signing rodgers
