As of right now, the Dems are weak and I don't see that happening when they take back power.

The weaknesses lead to the voter apathy. Is it the Dems are weak or is it voters are fucked up?
The weaknesses lead to the voter apathy.
The states is what gave Trump his victory. Other than the border, what could dems had said different in those states that would've changed the outcome.
I bet they won’t do that again. The judicial branch is stopping most of Trump BS. People will be glad we have a functioning branch or government right now.![]()
'Democrats Lost Them': Here's Why 2020 Biden Voters Sat Out the 2024 Election
Dems staying home fueled Donald Trump’s 2024 win and cost Kamala Harris, according to research from Way to Win, Catalist, and Lake Research Partners.www.rollingstone.com
"For one thing, they are not politically apathetic — the voters interviewed reported they were engaged with politics, but unhappy with their choices and unconvinced that either candidate could make a positive change in their lives. But they are open to persuasion — one woman shared a story about attending Harris rally, which she left early after Harris failed to address the issues that mattered most to her.
Nonvoters had other gripes with the Harris-Walz campaign too: “A surprisingly common frame was that the campaign ‘wasn’t serious,’ with many citing Harris’ celebrity endorsements and event appearances and framing them negatively.” Voters across groups indicated a belief that Democrats were focused on the “wrong things,” with Black men in particular expressing their feeling “that Dems cared more about immigrants, trans people, and waging war in Ukraine and Gaza than domestic priorities or their daily economic realities.”
This is what I keep saying. Dem do things THEY like. Just look at the fire I got on this very forum for suggesting we might ask the voters what they want and what their concerns are and center on that.
People decided, "you're not addressing my concerns, so I'll just stay home.""

That's fair. But my counter to that is that Trump hasn't delivered on any of those promises, and that he is a notorious liar when it comes to making promises.I'm a just say this then continue on my Sunday afternoon without fighting with my people lol.
Trump's message to working people was "no tax on tips and no tax on social security"
Kamala's outreach was "$25,000 to buy a home and help with a small business loan"
For people that have 0% chance of owning a home or starting a business those loans will never help you. We need to message on how we're going to help people with their day to day struggle to survive.
Just my opinion.

I duuno what "framing them negatively" means.

He lied though. He may have told them what they wanted to hear, but the GOP isn't passing that agenda in congress and what they are passing leaves them even worse off. How are dems supposed to compete against someone who promises the world and pays no penalty when he doesn't deliver? They've gone from the price of eggs being an abomination to higher prices and suffering being the patriotic thing to do to punish immigrants and China. You're wanting a focus by dems on kitchen table issues but they aren't voting for that. They are voting for white supremacy, to punish others, and to be top of the trash heap as long as immigrants and Black folk are worse off. And many of those Black anti Kamala supporters are all in for white supremacy also.
