Yeah right , you dont make it to the NBA win defensive player of the year multiple years and last over 10 years if you’re trash . The hate for him is based on his personality . A bunch of soft ass niggas these days. He plays basketball like the 90’s players. Everybody now days is a pussy ass coward that cries about touch fouls

Well that explains the reason he stay getting all these techs or fouling out.

Yall really happy about this huh? Having no Steph is like having no Jordan . Please calm the fuck down. Minnesota would be down 3-0 right now if Steph didn’t go out. Them Timberwolves niggas can’t shoot for shit. FOH. Also ain’t nobody missing Jordan Poole , stop with the theatrics. He costs us so many games with his goofy ass turnovers . Yall acting like he’s D Wade in his prime. FOH

The team demonstrated that they can hang in there against Minnesota without Steph. If they win one of the next two and Steph can come back for game 6, they have a chance.

Nobody wants to watch 90s ball; its not good for business! i dont want to see players getting mugged and closeline and shit like that; but some of these calls are ridiculous...

90s ball wasn't guys getting mugged or clothes lined every game. It was expansion era hoops with bad shooting. So much so they made the 3 point line WNBA distance for a few years. No one wants to watch that shit because no one wants to see 2 teams playing like a pack of ass struggling to score 90. There's never video footage of these "it was a bloodbath" Jordan Brand duck tales.

Nah it’s more than that; teams actually scheme to take players out the game and can concentrate more because you only playing this one team; that’s why superstars win you games because they can’t be schemed out; role players benefit from star players; but sometimes those role players don’t play well enough to win; that’s why teams with the most star quality players usually wins…

This assessment Is correct. However the role-players must play their part for the team to advance. As far as the GSW , they were lucky to get out of the first round. Most of their role-players haven't played well since the playoffs started.

I mean people we're saying butler should carry the team until curry comes back but that hasn't been the case since they've traded for butler. but this team pretty much is done since curry won't be back until game 6, if it goes that far. Butler really didn't make them a better team when they can't win without curry especially when the game was close and them being home.

I don't know If It's age or someone had a talk with him or both, but GSW Jimmy and Miami Jimmy are two different entities . It appears when In Miami he got his teammates involved but he prioritized scoring the ball. In GSW he'll score but It looks like getting his teammates the ball Is a top priority. which hurts them when no one can score. Next game Is a must win for them If they want to give Curry a chance to come back.

The Austin Reaves era in LA could be coming to a bitter end

AR15 went from undrafted to unreal, rapidly becoming a pivotal player for the Los Angeles Lakers. But the situation with his contract has become...complex.

Set to become eligible for a contract extension next offseason, Reaves can be offered a maximum of $. ($20.8M/year) under the current CBA. Given his impact and production, that figure likely him.

At 26, Reaves may choose to decline the extension and test free agency in 2026, where he could command a much larger deal—potentially a max contract worth up to $.

The Lakers are in a bind. Reaves has game, no doubt—but with the front office locked in on adding size, defensive grit, and wing depth, he could become trade bait rather than a building block.

If his contract demands start squeezing their cap space, sentiment won’t save him.

Trade chatter’s already bubbling, with Reaves’ name thrown around in wild packages—even ones involving Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Here's a trade proposed by Yahoo Sports' Eddie Bitar:

Lakers Receive: Giannis Antetokounmpo
Bucks Receive: Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura, Jarred Vanderbilt, Dalton Knecht, 2031 First-Round Pick, 2026 First-Round Pick Swap

That’s not just noise—it’s a sign. The Lakers aren’t playing favorites; they’re playing for titles.

And if Reaves doesn’t fit the blueprint, he might be the next piece to move

I know there’s a WNBA thread but just like WNBA games, nobody goes in there.

But let me point out that Paige threw a CRAZY dime and her teammates on the bench doing a fucking “golf clap”

:hmm:

I see that you're not educated about WNBA games or the WNBA thread.
