McShay talked about his....Interview wasn't the best, but I think what hit the nail in the coffin was they gave him an install package and he wasn't prepared....

On a recent episode of “The McShay Show,” McShay revealed the details of a concerning pre-draft incident Sanders had with New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll. quarterback Shedeur Sanders

“Shedeur is not in play at 3; Shedeur is not in play with the New York Giants as far as I’m told,” McShay said. “Shedeur didn’t have a great interview with Brian Daboll in a private visit. An install package came in, preparation wasn’t there for it, he got called out on it, he didn’t like that. Brian didn’t appreciate him not liking it.

“I was surprised it wasn’t talked about that Shedeur Sanders — if you’ve been following the show, from the beginning — I told you there were two personnel people that I spoke to that were in the room during interviews…two teams drafting in the top 10 with quarterback needs, and the interviews did not go well.

“Not disrespectful, nothing harsh, just felt like…the phrase I’ve been using that aptly describes it — we didn’t get the sense that Shedeur cared all that much about what we thought of him.”

Several scouts maintained leading up to the draft that Sanders wasn’t a first-round talent, and several analysts like McShay kept reporting based on the NFL personnel people they spoke to that the league wasn’t as high on Sanders as the media was.

Despite the frustration of waiting way longer than he likely expected, Sanders appears to be in good spirits as he waits to see where he ends up.

“Another day another opportunity to get a chance to play the game I love. Thank you GOD #LEGENDARY,” Sanders posted on X Saturday morning.

If this story is true. And if the NFL is the only place where you have an opportunity to make millions and play at a high level the game you love.

You have to put your best foot forward at all opportunities.

Humble yourself and get your foot in the door. Taking umbrage with not being prepared is not the business....

Esp in a league that has already showed that they will blacklist you in a minute....esp black QB1s

Hello Kaep

Yup esp. if you are above average and don't have those physical tools these teams are looking for....

Ex. Anthony Richardson was drafted high solely off his size and what he did at Florida....
"As a collegiate player, Richardson was stated to have displayed "dynamic talent" as a passer and runner during his college years but lacked accuracy and consistency.[17] Richardson's physical gifts also helped propel him as a possible first-round NFL draft selection"

If Daboll is that intelligent, that detailed, that hard, why are his teams soo bad? Why hasn't he been able to impact winning since Allen?

I played football for a LONG time, but damn that QB room shit is crazy, off the dome like that.

Sanders is a high GPA, never been a problem, son of a hard nosed, no nonsense father. I find it very hard to believe that he was not prepared for this. If he made huge board mistakes, no way he would be disrespectful or flippant.

He is not getting drafted though. The Cowboys would be smart to take him in the 7th with their compensatory pick.

But real talk DC.....you gotta put your best foot forward with any opportunity in life.

Deion knows that.....he knows the way things work.....

I believe if the stories are true....and given the current situation I believe they likely are ..

These dudes got over their skies and need to get humble so they can get in the door.

Real talk if he signs with someone as a free agent he is getting used and someone is getting him for no value and he could start now.

All FACTS!!!

I ll tell you this any team needing a QB and Shadeur is still on the board in the 5th round would be dumb not to take dude.

Hell at round 5 if he is a total bust it doesn't mean shit concerning the future of your team.

Hell at round 5 you could cut dude if it doesn't work out.

Pittsburgh is crazy if they dont take Shadeur round 5.

Hell you are just replacing that Skyler bum at this point. Grab a vet and keep talent in your QB room

The funny thing is what’s going on with shedeur is what I thought could have happened to Caleb last yr.. in fact I made reference to it last yr b4 the draft.. I said it was more about power than race.. when Caleb was talking about he should get percentages of the team money I said the owners would fuck around and show Caleb who’s boss and not draft him. Basically saying there is no man bigger than the game and the owners showing the athletes that even though they are the product and the ones who generate the money it’s the owners that run things and to show the athletes it’s a “privilege “ to play for the nfl.. I’m wondering is this what they doing To sheuder.. if they are it’s crazy that I was wrong about the player and yr but right that they would actually do something like this

You make a good point about POWER. And Caleb didn't have an NFL HOF dad with some pull like Deion. That's also on record saying he would love to coach his son in the NFL. I don't think many coaches are secure enough to go into a season with that hanging over their head.
