}~~~> Official 2024/2025 NBA Thread<~~~{ the playoffs are here!!!

Dirk won once after choking for over a decade. Then never won another playoff series in 8 straight seasons after that. Their new ownership doesn't care about his fluke title from 14 years ago. That's not helping their bottom line today. He's just a guy. Meanwhile, the Lakers rolled out the red carpet for Bron and got his son on the playoff roster. Respect >>> team championship

Same lessons he taught bronny senior after 2011

Wade is teaching Bam and Herro how to lose in the first round every year and fall off by age 30 like he did. Unlike him though, there's no savior to come and lead them to the promise land and make them sidekicks for the next 4 years. Bron will always have more Heat Finals MVPs than Wade.

Heat play the Bulls tonight with their season on the line. Watch how disengaged our resident Heat fan will be in the game. They are boring to watch and are going nowhere fast. He'd much rather watch other teams than the trash Pat Riley puts on the floor. I promise you he posts more on Saturday night when Bron plays on primetime. You can't fake being a draw in this sport.

Just another disgruntled podcaster

He's not lying though, the arena don't even be full when the heat are losing but when they win is when everyone want to come to games.

I also remembred when all those heat fans left the finals early when they had the big 3 because they thought it was over, then they tried to come back into the arena.

It's not full at tip because it's a pain in the ass to get to on time.
It's on the water. So you only have a few ways to get there combined with rush hour traffic.
Also if you see sometimes seats empty they have bars and lounges in the arena
Check our attendance numbers. We're perennial top 5
Yes some people left at the end of that game and real fans shun them.

Which potential first round opponent gives Oklahoma City the toughest fight?
Memphis might have the best matchup

Sac is terrible and Dallas won’t forfeit

I don't understand what you're saying about Dallas.

But, while I have not seen Sac play once this year so I don't really know, I think I agree with you that it is Memphis.

I'll have to root for Dallas because Klay is my favorite non-Warrior but part of me will be rooting for Memphis to give OKC as rough a road as possible.

I'd hate to see you dating a relative of mine. Because you seem to be an intensely bitter mfer for a long time post-relationship.
I said he earned his money last night but Jimmy's success hinges on the refs.
If they let Houston be physical you're in trouble

Ain't about letting Houston be physical
It's about letting BOTH teams be physical
We got elite defense TOO
So if we can be physical and they can be physical we've never run from a fight
But if they can put the paws on us meanwhile we got 4 ppl with 5 fouls?
