Black Man of the Day: Bomani Jones Update: Leaving ESPN!

Nico did what he was ordered to do, he tried to get the players that would still enable them to content, but it didn't matter, it wasn't a basketball decision. Nico really tried his best for Mavs. Majority owner playing chess not checkers. Even if it means undermining the team. Mark Cuban mad af...

So they relocating the team to Vegas?

So they relocating the team to Vegas?
I don't know. I hope not. I wish no goodwill to majority owner. They some rat bastards on many levels.

From Google AI on who owns Mavs:
The Dallas Mavericks are majority-owned by the Adelson and Dumont families, who purchased a controlling stake in the team from Mark Cuban in 2023. Miriam Adelson, her daughter Sivan Dumont, and son-in-law Patrick Dumont are the key figures in this ownership group. While Adelson and Dumont now hold the majority share, Mark Cuban maintains a 27% ownership stake and continues to oversee basketball operations.

Same AI on why Cuban sold Mavs:

Mark Cuban sold his majority stake in the Dallas Mavericks for a couple of key reasons: new business ventures and family considerations. He also cited the changing NBA landscape, particularly the trend of teams investing in real estate and casinos, as a factor in his decision.

It does look like Mark Cuban is either in collusion or he is keeping quiet, keeping his cards close to his chest and/or don't want no smoke from the ruthless & powerful.

Real gangster/deals-with-devil shit.

That part!

I'm in the Booooo crowd and I'm sick of seeing people who have no business near the Presidency.

With that said even though the GOP is really shitty they always get a pass.

Yup but Bomani is right

This is more about the American public being an embarrassment

I said this in another thread but Bomani fails to bring up the pull of Bronny being there. He can keep an eye on what's going on. At this point LeBron has enough money and he knows this team isn't built to win it all. West is getting younger with more athletic defenders and the Lakers aren't doing anything to counter that. You've got two liabilities in the starting 5 with reeves and Luka although reeves has gotten better. LeBron is also not the defender he once was either.

I do NOT condone doxxing his mother

They should be put under the jail and forgotten

But I would have to say this - you don't have to talk about EVERYTHING.

There are consequences and repercussions when you choose to make a living taking all day looking for views and interactions and going viral.

Why sh*t on Aalyiah? You got the right. But why? What did you expect? You could have just NOT.
