HBCU’s can’t afford to pay him that amount because the revenue is simply not there. Think about the money they receive from their conference vs a power 5. Look at endowments revenue, TV deals etc.
I personally think what’s hurting HBCU’s from for growth is the meac and swac conferences. They don’t even compete in the college playoffs
Oh I hope this happens..only issue i have is that he's playing for Arthur Smith and we know the offense won't be open
Maybe Travis because they gave him a Heisman...Shedeur is nonsense. Kordell Stewart was way more deserving, he played 6 top 25 teams (3 top 10) and went 5-1. Had 1 of the best plays in NCAA history vs #4 Michigan with the Hail Mary and ended the year 11-1 and he doesn't even have his jersey retired...
Yeah I agree with you on Travis Hunter but Shedeur shouldn't be getting his jersey number retired!!..

Shedeur has the most completed touchdowns I school history in TWO YEARS. He deserves this honor.
The Alums need to be mad at the SCHOOL not those 2 young men or Deion
