Was Booth doing what the team wanted them to do though? If he was, why fire him as well? The ownership might be the biggest problem here. As much as I didn’t like Malone, he wanted to keep winning. I respected that. Ownership just wanted to avoid more luxury tax and let solid championship pieces leave and told Malone to make it work. Malone’s flaw is he doesn’t trust not develop young players. He wants win now dudes and with Nikola turning 30 this year, I can see respect that.
Booth signed a Euro bum who nobody wanted AND gave him a player option for absolutely no reason. That dude has barely played this season and he’s talking about opting in. Of course he is cuz nobody else will sign him.
