}~~~> Official 2024/2025 NBA Thread<~~~{ OKC Thunder NBA champs}

I wasn’t old enough to remember Prime Shaq but after watching retro highlights. I change the way I viewed buddy. I thought he was just a player who backed folks down and dunked on them cuz he was stronger than everybody. Buddy had some actual skill. However, his love for “Bully Ball” is annoying.

And yeah the “string beans” of today would get worked. Honestly I look at guys like Wemby, Chet and even Bol Bol as tall SF’s. Them boys too “light in the ass” for that post work.

Yeah man, prime Shaq was nasty in the paint. These new "bigs" weigh less than most early 00's guards.

Chet is 7-1 215lbs, Wemby 7-3 235lbs?!!!

Prime Shaq was 7-3 345, and FAST!! He would bully the hell out of these "bigs"......

But today's game is different. Lebron at 6-8 275 can dominate in the paint on boths sides of the ball against most teams....

He wasn't able to do that his first 6 or so years

  Man PRIME SHAQ was like the Incredible Hulk, dude was all muscle and all power, I think his best feature was he could jump and was fast and quick unlike other big men

Sure it is.. It includes the entirety of one guys prime while omitting his struggle years and includes the others guy post prime and includes his 37+ seasons.

He's also using averages because Steph rested an entire season in 2020 coming off a Finals choke. His totals are ass.

Who would have ever thought the goat would get carried by a euro and a cac from Arkansas

Not being a ball hog and playing within the offense is smart. Bron is having a great game. His white boy disciples ballin is a good thing, him not having the carry the load is scary for the West. :itsawrap:

Who still thinks Kobe was ever as good as Luka?

His 12 3 pointer game he was playing with Shaq and being single covered by the great Kenny Anderson and Desmond Mason. Feasted on bums. Luka doing this on the #1 defense. No comparison. And it's all part of the LeBron Era Lakers.

Different era

Different era

No, Kobe is overrated. Austin Reaves this season is shooting 46% from the field and 37% from deep. Kobe has 3 seasons in his 20 year career he shot better from the field than that and never shot 37% from 3 in a season. :smh: Dude is grossly overrated as a Jordan clone. But now that we see Jordan wasn't really that dude, Kobe's bball legacy has become overrated. No white person in Los Angeles will consider Kobe better than Luka in 2 seasons. Right around the time they make him the highest paid player in the league.

I love how you've warmed up to Luka
:roflmao:

with nothing really to play for ....these last few games okc out here just playing pick up ball. ain't playing a lick of defense. give it to the lakers they just were red hot from 3. they'll cool down. lets see if okc care to put in work or they just save it for their last home game

I'm afraid the lebron era in LA will be forgotten
Kobe won 5 and had 7 finals
Lebron won 1. Only 1 finals appearance
Lebron spent most of his tenure padding longevity stats
Now it's Luka's team.
You'll still have Heat/cavs Bron though

They do a lot of reaching and going for strips but that's not gonna work against the Lakers. Also most teams OKC outsizes their perimeter opponents, but with Luka, Reaves, and Bron that's not the case.

Jaxson Hayes is feasting!!!

Realjondoe be like:

"Who would've thought Bron being carried by a Carrot Top Biracial"

:roflmao:

Bron leading the team in assists setting everybody up just conserving energy. :ssshhh:
It's called give it to Luka and get the fuck out the way
:roflmao:
Luka helping him pad his assists

Typically we'd have a lot of comments right now. Thread so quiet you could hear a pin drop. BGOL was dickeating these Thunder as favorites out the West a week ago. :ssshhh:
