I have a delima, BGOL. I have a friend who I've known since kindergarten and we keep in touch here and there. We used to go to the gun range a lot but we're both busy lately so it's been about a year since we've been. This is the same brotha that I lost that $1,000.00 bet to when trump won in 2016, lol. Anyaway, even after this trump cracKKKa intentionally crashed the stock market and left the poor and middle class left out to dry... insists on getting rid of black history... and ALL of the fucked up shit this orange CAC is doing, my friend STILL supports this fool. He's saying shit like "we have to give him a chance to let his plan do it's thing. When I ask him, what about black history, he said... "don't nobody want to hear about the dreaded slave days". After he said that, I told him I have to answer the other line, and ended the call.

He's cool people, he's my daughter's godfather and he always drops $100.00 for my annual fundraiser bike ride for multiple sclerosis. If I ever needed a loan, I know I'd be good for 5 or 10 Gs with no interest. We might link up in person a few times a year, but I don't think I can fuck with nobody who thinks this way... this some bitch ass nigga shit. I'm about ready to just cut him off because I don't fuck with people who thinks like this.

Am I overreacting?

my Business partner said some foul Trump shit last year which shocked me. I didnt go off nor did I say anything I just put him in a category that he has changed his ways from who he was and thats cool for him. I talk or text him ever so often but nothing like before and it works out best just like that.

Yeah his take on Black History is Very Weird and strange to say the least. Don's trying to take everything Black related from history and the present, none of us should be ok with that.
 
One can go their whole life & have only 2-3 people who are "actual friends." Your Trumper friend sounds like one of your 2-3. Being a Trumper should not be a deal-breaker with the many other positive attributes that you describe. I would advise you to keep the friendship and find a way to separate the friendship/your friend from his political view as his political PsOV don't really affect your life. I have a few friends that turned into Trump supporters. After that, I just don't talk about politics with people I know unless they bring it up first and I see we are aligned. Otherwise I avoid the topic. It's very disappointing finding out that a Black person I know is a Trump supporter.

I used to have two...wait for it...Polish buddies (both from Poland, both here on long expired visas). We used to go sailing together, get together for drinks, cook and eat together, and had each others backs on more than one occasion.

I turned a blind eye to the fact that, after a few drinks, they would always turn the subject to jews and how fucked up they were in their minds, for some reason. I also blew off the fact that they would exchange words in Polish sometimes, never explaining to me what was being said.

Well, after the first time tRump was elected, right after the woman was killed at that nazi rally, they were celebrating his win, and making fun of the woman who was killed.

Right then and their our "friendship" ended. Slavs are the most racist people on the planet (Polish, Russian, and Ukranians are like three flavors of the same bullshit). It took that event to open my eyes, and realize our "friendship" was actually a novelty act. One of them remarked once that they had never met a "normal" black person before having met me.

Fuck 'em. If they were on fire, I would not piss on them to put it out. Same goes for the sambo friend of a friend (with a damned law degree!) who recently bought a Tesla in order to support the cause.

An atheist, a Muslim, and a Christian can be the best of friends.. they all have diff belief systems and also celebrate diff holidays and also carry themselves differently under certain circumstances.. but even with diff backgrounds, diff customs, they can overlook their differences and look at each other as comrades and hang out and enjoy each other company.. your faith , your idea of your origin story and your thoughts on your end is and can be a very big thing, more so your political ideas and yet if people with different faith beliefs can get along why wouldn’t people with diff political beliefs? Once again no one person on earth will completely agree with you

Same thing happened to me years ago. Dude brought some dame to my house, after several social events that included all of us, including his wife. And his SIDE PIECE WAS MARRIED AS WELL. He put all of us potentially in harms way.

I have two sisters and 5 nieces. The GOP hates women, is stripping them of their rights and forcing them to have babies by their rapist and carry unviable pregnancies to term. So, if my niece is assaulted or molested and you voted for the Trump there is NO way my family won’t stomp you at a cookout. You gotta go. And my ex homey has 3 daughters and voted for Trump.
