BREAKING: Trump rages at 'disrespectful' Zelenskyy as White House meeting descends into chaos

I’m From Huntsville—we build missiles, so yes, the second part of your statement is true.

But it’s wild to think Ukraine wasn’t getting cash. They bought weapons indirectly to avoid dragging the US/NATO into direct conflict.

People keep missing the original issue: Putin just wanted Ukraine to stay sovereign and not host a US/NATO base. Honestly, that’s a fair ask, all things considered.
So there are 32 nation in NATO. Which of those 32 nations isn't sovereign? Who is Putin to determine what the Ukraine should decide to do?

The US is a capitalist society. We give aid to nations in the form of America made/produced equipment, supplies, manpower, etc....

Do you really think the US is transferring money out of the US treasury and depositing it in the Ukraine's bank account?

The media outlets in other countries are having a field day witg this. The whole world is side-eyeing America right now.

Many allies are starting to lose trust in the US. Trump has no idea the impact a global trade downturn will have on our economy. If all the countries collectively stop fuckin with us like that..she will start to get real.

Listening to this is very much like how white racism and prejudice's from those who are mediocre.

Shit is crazy.

-be thankful. You haven’t thanked me.
-you can’t do anything without me.
-you aren’t enough.
-you are being mean and disrespectful (to the person who invaded your lands, killed your people, installed a puppet government).

As the great Malcolm Nance called it over ten years ago. Trump is a Russian asset and takes his marching orders from the Kremlin with the ultimate goal of destroying America from within.
these fools call Nance a bootlick becos he doesnt parrot their dumb rightwing points

That was the gotdamn issue? Man shit, let Russia handle it's business. Ukraine on that old dope.

Dave Portnoy sides with Trump following heated Oval Office clash with Zelensky: ‘We’re not just going to get steamrolled’

Dave Portnoy praised President Trump and Vice President JD Vance for how they handled the explosive clash with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the White House on Friday – blasting the Kyiv leader for showing disrespect as he “steamrolled” negotiations to secure peace in his country.
The Barstool Sports founder took aim at Zelensky during a more than seven-minute rant on Saturday, while claiming he understood both sides of the squabble as he sympathized with the devastation Ukraine has endured since Russia’s invasion in 2022.

Portnoy compared the blowup to watching “Bravo TV,” adding that it was the “most surreal” thing he’s ever seen in politics.
“I think Trump and Vance handled this as well as they could,” Portnoy said in a video posted to X.

“We’re not just going to get steamrolled by Zelensky at the expense of getting a deal done. If that means that we have to throw a couple of flowers at Putin, then so be it.”

Portnoy added he, like Trump, would be “pissed” if a world leader failed to show appreciation for the “billions and billions of dollars” that’s been forked over to support another country’s war.
The public shouting match erupted between the trio of leaders in the Oval Office as a deal was set to be inked creating a joint US-Ukraine fund investing in extracting the country’s rare-earth mineral supply.
Trump has insisted the deal is essential to repaying the US for the more than $180 billion in American aid sent to Kyiv since the start of the war.
The vice president accused Zelensky of being ungrateful for America’s support, as Trump ripped him for disrespecting the Land of Liberty.

Zelensky left the White House, which then canceled a planned joint conference.
“I’m on Trump’s side more than I am Zelensky’s,” Portnoy said.
“It seems like it could go on forever with us footing the bill. Clearly what the old administration has done has not helped to end this conflict at all.”

Portnoy criticized the Biden Administration for vilifying Putin and squandering opportunities to work with Russia to achieve peace. He then hailed Trump for his diplomacy and hesitation to label the Kremlin as a dictator.
The social media personality also condemned Zelensky’s attire in the White House.
“You can say whatever you want about Trump. He takes signs of disrespect personally,” Portnoy argued.

“He’s very much about, you know, respecting other things. So, Zelensky shows up and he’s wearing his sweatshirt and his customary outfit, which is his way of essentially saying, ‘I’m at war. I don’t have time to play politics or any other stuff,’” he continued.
“For me, this is just stupid. We get you’re at war, but you’re coming to meet a new administration. And it’s just a sign of disrespect not to show the same level of respect (in) the Oval Office that Trump clearly thinks it deserves.”

What do you think? Post a comment.
Portnoy said he understands Ukraine has “been through hell and back” but believes that Zelensky should “show some deference” to the country he needs support and aid from.
“They should show some deference to or thank you to the American taxpayers,” Portnoy said.
“Trump made it very clear he wants diplomacy. He wants to end the debt. He wants to end this war.”

The debate about President Zelenskyy's attire at the White House continues.
On Friday (February 28), Zelenskyy visited the White House for a historic meeting with Donald Trump.
Since the the war broke out in Ukraine when Russia invaded the country in February 2022, Zelenskyy has only worn all-black, military-style attire to official meetings – Friday included.
While this is nothing new for Zelenskyy, his decision not to wear a suit drew critcism from Americans, with one reporter questioning if he even owned a suit.

The reporter to pose such a question was Brian Glenn. He asked the Ukrainian president: "Why don’t you wear a suit? You’re at the highest level in this country’s office, and you refuse to wear a suit. Do you own a suit?"
Zelenskyy replied: "I will wear a suit after this war is over. Maybe something like yours. Maybe better, maybe cheaper."
Glenn, who is dating controversial congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, went on to address the matter further on Twitter.
"I have extreme empathy for the people of Ukraine and all of those involved in this destructive war," his lengthy tweet began.
"The lives that have been lost are precious and that’s something a country can never get back. The war needs to end."

The reporter went on: "With that said, the United States has given Ukraine over $120b (some say it’s close to 300b) in assistance. That’s hard earned tax dollars from Americans. (Which most Americas are against funding).
"President Zelenskyy has worn the green jumpsuit (or something similar) on every occasion when meeting other world leaders, dressed respectfully for the occasion.
"For him, once again, to enter the highest office in the most powerful nation in the world, dressed as he did, reflects his inner disrespect for not only our country, the President and the US citizens that have made it possible for Ukraine to survive as long as they have to this point. (Financially speaking)."

"Moments after my exchange with President Zelenskyy, we began to hear a slightly different tone/mood from him when engaging with President Trump and VP JD Vance as his attire in fact did begin to reflect his overall attitude towards the negotiations," Glenn continued.

"So yes, you can judge a book by its cover.

"With that said, I pray for an ending to this war and peace in that region."

Taylor Greene has also weighed in on the matter.

Sharing a clip of Glenn asking Zelenskyy the question, the Republican penned: "I’m so proud of @brianglenntv for pointing out that Zelensky has so much disrespect for America that he can’t even wear a suit in the Oval Office when he comes to beg for money from our President!!"
