But it’s wild to think Ukraine wasn’t getting cash. They bought weapons indirectly to avoid dragging the US/NATO into direct conflict.
People keep missing the original issue: Putin just wanted Ukraine to stay sovereign and not host a US/NATO base. Honestly, that’s a fair ask, all things considered.
No Putin want to take over Ukraine because it has access to the ocean and he wants to rebuild the old Soviet Union. He will kill anyone who tries to stop him and manipulate our idiot in charge. I only hope that both countries do Major damage to each other and hopefully that will keep them idle for years to come
