Agreed. Having to live up to the hype of your superstar parent is hard. No matter what industry you in. I give her props. Girl can wrestle. She’s up there with the joshis. One of the few women (I think) could hang with the asukas and iyos and not look like trash and be carried. Unfortunately I think she has an attitude problem. How many times has this woman been married? 3 I think. I could be wrong but I wouldn’t be surprised if her attitude did contribute to part of the backstage drama. Ultimately I think it’s more what someone else said earlier. It’s mostly bitching by people unable to get over with the crowd whether it be lack of charisma to cut a promo or lack of wrestling ability. In short, mid carders or rarely seen no carders expecting to be getting top bookings. Sorry but a lot of these wrestlers need to go elsewhere. WWE got 3 main shows and it still ain’t enough. The roster is huge and they are steadily getting under developed talent that is being nurtured to take the place of the big dawgs. Point in case: see Roxanne. RAW and SD both have plenty of stars but they let an NXT standout take a spot? I like her but the fact that they couldn’t get anyone else out of 2 shows means the top brass didn’t believe in anyone else. I would be pissed too if I was a regular on the main show but I would also be thinking about going on an Indy run. There is nothing wrong with going overseas or to lesser known promotions and really learning the craft. Undertaker (regardless of what u think of him) brought up this point. Your character MUST draw people in. If they hate you or love you it don’t matter. You have to win the crowd over. And you still need to be able to work a match and make it look believable. Lot of these wrestlers are dope but they are sorely lacking in one or both of these areas. This is why I believe a lot of these older wrestlers (like Miz) need to embrace the manager role. Bring that back and make it great again. Hell for a while there I used to only watch the programs for Paul Heyman, bliss and the fiend. They were legit the only segments that garnered some interest because they were great storytellers.
She was good as a general manager harassing Naomi. I agree she wasn't a good wrestler.

I could care less about her personal life and how many times she's been married.
The wrestling biz ain't exactly conducive to blissful and happy marriage so I can forgive that.
She perhaps rubs other female wrestlers the wrong way and knowing what I know about females in general, that shouldn't be surprising.
I agree about personality/character/promo ability in general in wrestling 100%.
We've got a whole generation of wrestlers now unfortunately (in all promotions) that have no clue how to get over with fans and carve out a wrestling persona/character that resonates with fans.
They just know how to "do a bunch of moves" just for the sake of doing moves without any personality.
That shit has not ever (and will not ever) gotten over with a large enough fanbase to sustain a profitable wrestling company with weekly TV.
I’ve always wondered that too but it comes in phases. They hate her now and will love her later.

Unless they plan on using heel Cody to make Roman the ultimate babyface.
I was hoping when Cody turned him down Jacob and Tama would jump Cody leading to Roman to come out with Jey Uso to stop Jacob and Tama and help Cody. At this point Jey turns on Roman and is revealed as the True TKO Corporate Champion/Head of the Table The chosen one by the Rock. Jey then challenges Cody at Wrestlemania, and Roman challenges Rock as the true "Seiuli". This leads to their match at Mania.

I've had a night to sleep on it and....that Rock-Cody segment just came off fucking weird.
The segment just kept going and going and going and going.....
Feels like Rock is just crowbarring himself into WrestleMania and/or trying to pop a rating for Smackdown and sell out the remaining tickets for WrestleMania.
If they are wanting to turn Cody heel (which I do think would work) there are better ways to accomplish it than basically rehashing the "corporate champion" storyline from back in the day with Vince-Rock and then Vince-Stone Cold.
