Different culture, I don't condone him slapping her.
I would reach out her parents, that's where his anger should have been directed.
My next priority would be teaching my boy to get a back bone and defend himself.

Issues with bullies need to be dealt with through school first and then parents later.
Personally, my son or daughter would never need me to step in to deal with bullies.
I have already given my children advice and permission on how to interact with bullies.
That was bogus though. A grown man should not put his hands on an adolescent girl.

In Black America, that father is getting a beatdown by any parent, aunt, uncle etc available.
