‘Masters of the Universe’ Movie Finds Its Ram-Man as Trio Joins Cast (Exclusive)
Based on the popular Mattel toy line, the film has started production and has added Sasheer Zamata as Suzie, Jon Xue Zhang as Ram-Man, and Christian Vunipola as Hussein. Nicholas Galitzine was previously announced to star as He-Man in director Travis Knight‘s feature that is set to hit theaters exclusively on June 5, 2026.

Too early to tell. Not feeling the casting of Jared Leto as Skeletor. Instead of casting Idris as Man-At-Arms, he would have made an excellent Keldor/Skeletor. Idris Elba playing Man-At-Arms is him basically playing Heimdall again, which is wack.
Hell no, I can't see that movie being good as a live action film unless you set it up in a Game if Thrones type world.
But from those photos it's going to be in a more realistic setting which I can't see working.

I agree it's way too soon.
But so far I actually like all the casting and disagree man at arms is just Heimdall again.
If you remember the original cartoon.
Prince Adam’s mother was a astronaut from Earth that got lost and pulled towards Eternia and crashed.
The King found her and they got married.
It’s possible Skeletor in this film discovers she is Adam’s mother and the main plot is similar to “The Terminator” trying to kill John Conner.
Skeletor might have gone back in time to try to kill Adam’s mother.
We will wait and see…
I remember, still don't want to see Earth in the first film. They can always do that in the sequel. The show didn't do the whole Earth visit right away, that was after the characters and world of Eternia was already established.

ummm... I would watch a 20 minute documentary on how they made that sword alone.

We focusing on the sword so far. if they taking THAT much time and money and detail on the SWORD?
That is a GOOD SIGN.

all we seen is some sneak stills.
We don't know how they doing it exactly.
Lets stay positive.
They might do the obligatory scene where someone else finds the sword(maybe some drunk homeless guy or Adam's Earth-based friends) and causes damage to,say, a police car(maybe that photo of Adam in handcuffs is from this supposed scene)

I think they KNOW how damn hard this is gonna be to translate to screen live action

First half..second half after he gets the sword he'll travel to Eternia(with his Earth friends in tow)
I have NOT seen hat reported anywhere.
I feel like people saw that ONE picture and now writing a 2 hour movie in their head before seeing or reading anything else
Its entirely possible that this movie goes in any direction possible
It could be Earth based
Or start on Earth and go to Eternia
Earth could evolve into Eternia
we could have split dimensions
It could be some type of fantasy come to life where a young man obsessed with He Man thinks its real?
Or some type of Barbie version
Who knows?
and I am NOT sh*tting on ANY of those possibilities because I aint seen the script and the movie aint even 10% done yet.
I honestly thought this was an impossible property to do live action.
I know people wanted a Game of Thrones type He Man... that is a tough f**king sell.
I actually hope its more family friendly Marvel level
I think that is also where the MONEY is.

The 80s version of me would’ve lost it hearing about a live action movie.. I literally had the whole collection he-man back in the days, the castles, the vechiles, even had the she ra collection, use to watch the series faithfully in daycare, had the mini books that came with each doll.. even seen the dolph lundrin movie first week it came out, older bro took me to see it, than eventually gave all them shits away to nephew, lil cousins, younger kids on my block
