The black dollar is powerful but still fuck you, Target.

I haven't shopped at target but I didn't shop there before lol. I also haven't bought anything from Amazon or Walmart for like over a month now. I've only been buying from Costco..

A lot of people some of my own family is discovering Costco is a good ass place. I had a couple of family members went there for the first time last week and they love it. I am so happy they got a Costco card cause once in a while they used to bug me for my card.

Why do we act like being a consumer is power? Its potential power, but if you hand it over hand over fist to the very same people who don't give a fuck about you, welp that is just as powerful as a crackhead buying crack from their dealer.

Because God loves consumption. This is America.

Yep, canceled my Sam's Club yesterday. Signing up for Costco next week. Dropped grocery pickup from Wal Mart too. Just gotta find a replacement for Amazon. Any suggestions?

Temu! They actually have some good stuff on there and it's way cheaper. Shipping takes like 5 to 10 days though.
I bought my first thing from Temu 2 days ago. It says it shipped yesterday, but the window for delivery is pretty wide(2-7 days). Hopefully I get it before a work conference next week.

I don't shop at Target unless they have a sale item and it has to be somthing I need or I'm not even driving out there to save on a couple of dollars.

Walmart and Costco but Costco's lines and people in there is something else just walking and looking, walking eating and looking, walking talking eating and looking...I don't have the time, sorry.

You will make time for Costco because you made time for racist as target

Let us how that goes... the quality of the products have scared me off.
Sometimes it can be hit or miss on the clothes but I've bought house shoes that were legit. I bought some kitchen items that was decent too. Just find people who bought from them, I'm sure Reddit has a post about Temu. I also bought some sweatpants my brother recommended, I knew they had to be legit because he won't let me buy some BS.

This.
First, DEI didn't benefit black people.
Secondly, the black entrepreneurs in business with Target are collateral damage; gotta break some eggs...
Thirdly, we have to stop being such consumers, that's when/how we start throwing our weight around.

It's surprising how little we need to live.

Buy NOTHING!

Boycotting Target effects Black entrepreneurs that have shelf space

Didnt watch, but thr question is why are they ok with "financing our oppression" by doing business with a company that does nothing for our community?

Dr. Bronner's soap is the only thing I buy from target, only when I can't find it cheaper elsewhere. Everything in Target is more expensive.

Beware of buying anything close to electronic. You're likely to regret it. I bought a couple of USB cables and an sd card - absolute junk. Within two days, my files started disappearing from the SD card, and it didn't stop until I replaced it with a regular San Disk card.
