I thought that Trick Williams might show up in the Rumble match (on the road to a call up), but him showing back up for mediocre duty the last few NXT shows has cooled me on this prediction (his work has been fine, but this "angry Trick" angle seems like a bad turn for him).The rumble is in less than 48 hours and only separated by one Smackdown. Can we start making some predictions in this bitch.
I have no clue who's going to win, which is a good thing I suppose. The last two rumbles were good, but a Cody win seemed like the only real prediction in either of them.
All I'm looking for is a moment (maybe in the final 4) where Seth is on the verge of eliminating Roman & Sami has to make a choice between saving Roman or betting on himself.
Whatever the result of that interaction, I hope it leads to a good Sami/Seth match at Mania.
I still think Joe Hendry is showing up. He's in town and everything. And a Rumble match is a good place to let him drop in.
I have no idea who the winner might be. I'll guess... Sami sneaks it with some weird "assist" from Kevin Owens. Which teases Kevin expecting some sort of payback during his own match.
My "big swing, definitely wrong, but this is how you make the big money prediction" is that Cena goes wild in the Rumble match, but gets ousted by Joe Hendry. This leads to a rivalry between Cena and Hendry, and a TNA title match as Cena's big shot at one last title (...for now, because I have him dropping that match and then magically getting one last title shot at a WWE belt).
Anyway, that's all I got. The bookers are doing good work, because I have no idea what's going to happen this weekend.
Thunder Rosa looks better with her wrestling makeup on. She sometimes comes off as too harsh on camera. Yeesh.
