Beautiful bed wench

Nope. Terrible how legendary shows had were not given the dignity of a proper ending. Same thing with All In The Family.

It seems like plenty of shows either don't get a proper ending / finale, or run for many seasons too long (and people lose interest).

I appreciate when I hear an interview with a showrunner, or showrunners, and they say they've explained to the network or streamer that the story is mapped out for say 3 - 5 seasons. IF the network or streamer is happy ... they have ideas for a potential prequel or spinoff(s) as well.

The came back strong

Really going to miss this show

Somebody Somewhere

Is going to end very well if they can stick the landing we talkimg classic. Show deserved an extra season

Wow... I remember this woman was supposed to be cancelled after the whole Heroes thing.

But I noticed critics are very conveniently just choosing to act like all that sh*t with brother never happened.

Must be nice

Another Apple TV banger?

Really happy seeing Brian Tyree Henry racking up the credits over the years. He stays working ...

As soon as she stepped off the plane i said to myself she has to show the world what she's working with and boom......MILFTASTIC

On Episode 2 of LandMan. This is pretty good. I don't know how Taylor Sheridan does it but he must be using AI or something to write all these scripts.

The Agency premiered with the first two episodes on Paramount+ with Showtime on November 29, 2024 in the USA, with worldwide streaming following on November 30.[16][17]

Agreed. Watched the first 2 episodes the other day, and it's a good balance of the lighthearted and amusing, with the sentimental.

Made me think about a few other shows that I have enjoyed that have solid balances of the genres too - notably Reservation Dogs, and Shrinking ^

^^^

I need MORE shows where I can actually LIKE the damn characters.

Agreed. The seniors have personality. Sally Struthers and Margaret Avery are quite funny as the 2 women becoming fast friends with Ted Danson's character. Stephanie Beatriz from Brooklyn Nine-Nine is likeable as managing director of the retirement community, etc.

Have you been watching Shrinking on Apple+?

If not - I think you'd quite like it. They're almost wrapped up their 2nd season, and it's been solid. Better than season 1 as they've been able to pair off characters that didn't get screen time together in the 1st season.

The cast are likeable once you get to know them and their quirks, and there's some genuinely emotional moments in season 2. Even played back a few scenes - which I don't do often for comedy-dramas.
