Fellas we need to break the Main BGOL forum into separate forums

man a travel content forum is needed! all these years I watched folks travel and in 2024 I started on my journey.

I haven’t traveled much since Covid, but prior to that, I had been to probably nine countries in four years. I would definitely like to post about my journeys when I start back traveling next year. I have a bucket list of about 25 countries that I plan on seeing in the next 10 years.

There are a few travel sites that I follow. One in particular is one mile at a time. I used to love the points guy, but when he sold out to corporate, I stopped visiting the site. Also another site for good information when it comes to flying is flyers talk.

I posted a lot of information in the where are the hotspots in your city forum.

Agree with these as well. The main OG board link gets 95% of my attention. The Movie forum might get 4% and the remaining 1% for Music and Travel.

In the end, whatever you need to get it going, I’m sure we’ll adjust to.

I like the idea, as it cleans up the board. I only visit the Main forum and the Hollywood section so it will be some getting used to but I dig it. Will force folks to use the "watch" thread feature to keep updated with new posts.

First of all I'm willing to give you a refund, that has always been my policy, no hard feelings on my end.

I only give members free access to keep the board alive, if a member doesn't pay he has restricted access for 2 months.
After 2 months I give them full access for 6 months. Some people pay during that 2 month limited access, most don't.
Most days are $20 days or nothing at all. You can't exist on that type of money.

If I can set this board up to get Ad Revenue, that will eliminate a lot of stress on my end.
I can then begin to try and grow the board with new members.

I'll still need donation support for about another year, but I'll make it work regardless.

My goal is to go from a board that is losing members to a board that is gaining new members.

I'm tired of begging for money. Everyone wanted to keep the board as is with nudity all over the place.
Knowing I can't monetize the board with that type of setup, as long as they help me fund the board I was cool with it.

The funds have dried up.

I only visit the main forum. It’s like a one stop discussion shop for me. I don’t partake in the music and Hollywood forums like I use too.

I use probably 5% of the total forum and that still may be too generous of a number. So, for me, anything moved out the main forum may not get seen.

However, I understand needing to make change, so anything you must do, I will adjust as necessary.

Like others, 99% of the time I only look at the main forum and even then I rarely look past page one.

Will it be possible to have some kind of personalized dashboard where you can subscribe to various forums or categories?

One example would be for celebrity deaths. I wouldn't check a specific forum just to see if someone died, but I definitely want to know as soon as possible if a notable person passes.

Another example would be for all trending topics. There are many topics that I won't necessarily be interested in like cooking, gossip, etc. but if it's getting a lot of engagement, then I want to see what everyone is saying.

FL Studio, Cubase, Studio One, Reason, Pro Tools, Reaper, Garage Band, Cake Walk, Logic Pro & More

Sub Forum for instruments Like Guitars, Keyboards/Synths along with associated gear such as pedals, amps, software etc

Music Production discussions which is a broad topic that can include putting beats together, mixing, mastering etc,

We already have the Producers Music Lounge but it can't be out in the open becasue of copyright issues.
It will still be there if someone wants to share something with another member.

Dude was also a Lifetime Member, so he might think he is getting screwed.
