Draymond is a top defensive player in the league. Klay is a top bench player who doesn’t want to come off the bench. Not worth the same money and actually a detriment to the team for his refusal to get in where he fits in.
Kerr was not the asshole. Klay was, if anyone. I respect his desire to start but he didn’t merit it in Golden State anymore.
Buddy filled Klay’s role for much less and comes off the bench with no problem. Draymond is simply irreplaceable. There’s no comparison.

My one quibble with your post is he’s played most of his career with two such players and still has one.
