Who knows? Also have to wonder how having Velus Jones Jr. making the team and then immediately Velus’ing it up in week 1 impacted plans for Scott and Herbert, especially Herbert. Remember the plan was to get Jones touches as a RB and those had to come at someone else’s expense, and then when he Velus’ed his way out of a roster spot, the inept Eberflus/Waldron team could not seemingly adjust the RB plan they’d had in place since training camp.
We saw Travis Homer, who is good for a couple of things like pass blocking, play while Herbert got no time so Waldron definitely had favorites
People always spoke of Waldron using 2 and 3 TE sets which we really haven't seen much of. Someone who watched Sunday would have to tell me but did Mercedes Lewis play Sunday? He is noted for how well he can block. Waldron could have played 2 TEs and had Kmet running routes while Lewis blocked and helped out the O-lineWhy did we get Gerald Everett again?
Waldron didn't even know how to get the ball to Cole Kmet
I know that the team hired Trestman when they could have had Bruce Arians. Difference was that Trestman was cool with allowing the GM at the time, Phil Emery, dictate who he hired as DC, Mel Tucker.We're great at getting it wrong

They're releasing players that should have never made the roster in the first place. You can't make this shit up
Rumors were Nate Davis was lazy and didn't practice hard last season...and you brought him back again despite fucking sucking and being injury prone. So much for holding players accountable.
The crazy shit is that we're desperate for bodies at the offensive line now, so how is it helping Caleb? Are Teven, Braxton Jones and Darnell healthy?
This franchise...it's the top down starting with the ownership. We're like the Cowboys and Raiders...and until there's a change like Washington it's going to remain the same.

This is the right move. I fear his time with the Bears and even his career might be done. Was hell and fearless on the field when healthy, but the way he hits, it’s a matter of time before the next concussion is one that causes (more) permanent damage.
