I guess we have to literally have the country circle the drain before these people think, "Maybe these are bad ideas we are floating..." but the truth is, I don't think they will ever be accountable.

I think it's time we lean into the reality that the country is actually full of shitty people doing shitty things, and just figure out how to deal with being in that shitty situation. I'll keep doing my civic duty, mainly to spite the people that don't want me to do that, but I won't anticipate that producing a positive result. When people show you who they are, believe them. I done with even remotely believing that people will try to be better.

A true conservatie would say niggas need to learn how to budget if the economy is so bad....I still don't know what the federal government could have done to make corporations lower costs.....

What's done is done so now just exploit the system and make as much money as you can......

I can't speak on 2016 -2020 because I was working 2 jobs and paying $1200 a month in student loans so shit wasn't GREAT for me.....

Chump figured out how to manipulate the poor and disenfranchised weirdos of the country and people that wanted to be associated w/ a "billionaire". That "Make America Great Again" slogan was brilliant as well. It is what it is. He and his team are master manipulators.

North Carolina has always been this way. Outside of the cities, it’s a bunch of backward ass people out there. Hell, I grew up around these folks.

NC is a red state. We just have enough sense to elect a Democratic governor to keep from going Florida red.

It's crazy coming back down south....Growing up in Columbia, SC I still didn't see racism like that because it's a blue city....
Me and the wifey were just saying, in MD/DC you don't have to worry about your rights being taken away, but you might get shot, robbed or killled....

In the south, you don't really have to worry about the robbing and killing as much, but damn you have to worry about your rights getting taken away.....
 
Went to bed last night around 900pm here in Denver, CO.

Both of them were in the 200 range.

I got up around 200am to pee and Trump had won Ohio and Pennsylvania to win the 270.

Not shocked and not surprised.

The Electoral Map looks pretty much exactly like every Electoral Map since 2000. The only difference is the swing states like Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia and N. Carolina.

With all the other states, they basically won what was expected from each candidate.

Trump won the popular, but less votes he got in 2020. Harris got less popular votes than Trump and got no where close to Biden’s 80 million votes in 2020. Democrats did not come out to support Harris. I doubt voter suppression laws had anything to do with it.

The Democratic Party will do a lot of finger pointing, but in the end the loss is primarily on the Democratic Party as a whole. They had plenty of opportunities to shut Trump down since he left office and did absolutely nothing cuz they didn’t want to offend the Republicans and make them angry, like they weren’t already angry.

If future elections take place, Right now the Democratic Party has no one with the drive to take on Trump/GOP. The closest person is Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA), but it looks like his opportunity window is closed shut. No way he alone can novitiate Democrats to come out in 2028. The Democratic Party is gonna have to do a full reboot to get voters out in the future. They can’t continue what they have been doing for the past 30+ years.

Now we have to see if Biden is gonna grow some balls and go full Dictator with the new powers SCOTUS put on the Presidency and shut down Trump…it’s pretty obvious that ain’t gonna happen.

Trump/GOP have Project 2025 to kick into full gear next year. Trump doesn’t need Congress with the powers granted to him by SCOTUS. And we know Schumer/Jeffries ain’t gonna do shit to stop him, even if they try.

It’s gonna be interesting to see how shit plays out, lots of folks are gonna get a big surprise as the years go by.

You gonna hear from a lot of folks starting next year say….”I Didn’t Think He Was Gonna Do All That Shit, I Thought He Was Joking…”

We will wait and see.

Bruh he got more Blacks and Latino's to vote for him especially Latino men. I will never understand why people support him. Trump has done and said things that would have most people in jail or not being able to ever work again but yet millions of people voted for him knowing all of this. To me this says more about the American people than it says about Trump.

Most people living in NC are conservative and Christian. They live in small towns spread throughout the 100 counties and they live in their bubble. I hardly deal with direct racism nowadays. I’m too old to be out here fighting people anyway. Learning your environment helps navigate it.
