I actually don't mind Swerve beating Shelton clean.
Swerve is a former champion and Shelton ain't in AEW to be world champion or anything, he's there to put over younger talent.
Beating Shelton makes Swerve look more legitimate and of course Shelton had to get his heat back (like every other AEW match) afterwards.
Now, if Swerve beats Lashley clean in a couple of weeks on Dynamite that will be truly embarrassing.
Point taken, the shit that bothers me about it, Tony Khan and his ADHD ass mind has to rush every fuckin thing. This was Shelton's 3rd match, mind you, he was being built like a monster. That's my issue with it. Yeah it helps Swerve, but, why the fuck is he in such a damn hurry. Shit annoys the fuck outta me.
