Tyrique is a good player,but Terrell Smith may be as or more physically gifted. If Bears can get a 2nd,3rd or starting caliber G for Tyrique, don't rule it out.
They def not trading him. Not as much as Flus loves DBs, and Poles ain't letting go of dude he chose in the 2nd Round just last year.

I would assume that if Eberflus were to get fired the OC for the Lions would probably be the 1st call. Kingsbury pretty much showed in Arizona and at Texas Tech that he's not a good head coach. He's best suited to be an OCIf Flus gets fired in off-season, should this guy be our no.1 target?
Tyrique is a talker which is safe to say. For example he baited Nico Collins into going off on him earlier in the season so those things go both ways. Yeah, I don’t even remember players being this open about coaching issues during the Nagy or Trestman years (un excluding John Fox because he seemed to have guys respect as a coach who’d been to two Super Bowls and who wasn’t responsible for drafting Trubisky at 2).
This is a reflection on Eberflus, but it’s also a reflection on Poles, who had the chance to clean house and start fresh with Williams and a new coaching staff, and instead ran it back with a guy who’s issues with playcalling were noted in his first two years. And I like Poles, but he needs to be careful that his ass is not on the hot seat too.
We'll be ight. We just won't do anything great until and unless these coaches do the average things well.

I like Justin Fields but he hasn't been setting the world on fire with the Steelers.
As for Eberflus he still hasn't gotten out of the habit of playing not to lose in these situations rather than playing to win and being somewhat aggressive.

What exactly did you see from him in Pittsburgh that impressed you?
They played more conservative football that cut down on his turnovers, but he still missed open receivers, because of his hesitancy to throw the ball. Which is why Russ is the starting QB.
Guys go to certain places to play for a specific coach in college. The NFL is big business and guys are going to go where they are going to get paid and if it's in a city that they and their family enjoys even better.
As for players shutting the fuck up we as fans complain without knowing the ins, outs or specifics and players get to do the same especially considering that they do know those things.
Richard Sherman had every right to say something when the coach decided to pass the ball on the goalline instead of giving it to Marshawn. And Bear's players like DJ have every right to question giving the ball to the backup center at the goalline instead of giving it to your 220lb RB, your RB making 8 mil or throwing it up for your 6'3 WR. Receiving a check doesn't change that!!

You are correct I meant to say during the Fox era you didn’t have this kind of questioning of the coaching staff, and during the Trestman and Nagy eras you did.

Bruh, it's not even just one thing either:
- could've played your guys further up on the second to last play
- could've used one of your 3 timeouts to get in the exact formation you wanted to be in
- tripled down on saying that we didn't need a T.O. because "everyone was in place"
- .... which makes you look stupid at best (because that means you must have not been paying attention to or seen Stevenson)
- ....or is crazy at worst (because you saw him and thought we were still good to go)
You can see Flus on the sidelines on the 2nd to last play frantically giving his DBs direction on the sideline next to Caleb too. He was almost on the field and Caleb pulls him back. So if you have 3 timeouts and you clearly need to get your guys organized, USE ONE!
Like I said before I think they try to be too smart sometimes and screw themselves and the team. I honesty think he didn't want to use a TO because he didn't want to give the Commanders time to get organized. But WE needed it!
I bet you $10 he handles it completely differently if this situation comes up again.

..they said they practice that every week. The most obvious issue (and JJ highlights it) was that the D needed a chance to calm down and double-check their assignments. But Flus and the coaches didn't think it was wise to take a timeout to do that.This was after a bye week
So we practice running Kramer, but not how to handle a hail mary?
