Africa based videos I'm watching - HNIC

I love Kwesi Pratt Jnr. opinions on Africa,
He doesn't have a regular schedule on his videos, but he is insightful.

That Damn William Ruto tricked me, I thought he was a new type of leader,
but he is just a dude who wants to cozy up to the west.

When you are in bed with the west your country never gets better.
Your country stays underdeveloped and looking for aide, while the western powers are looting your resources. :smh:

I watch a lot of Africa based videos and I'm just going to post what I'm viewing.

I'm going to start with my guy Wode Maya.
I've watch him build his channel almost from the very beginning.
He started out chronicling the relationship between the Chinese and Africa / Africans.
He actually had a Chinese fiance for a while.
Now he has over a Million subscribers and travels the continent sharing information.

He dumped the Chinese chick and married a Motherland Sista.
I'm proud of this guy, he went out there and did it.

Wode Maya started by exploring Chinese-African relations and has grown to over a million subscribers. Now married to an African woman, he continues sharing stories across the continent

This Black guy Is too Black

This video uses a clip from Kwesi Pratt Jnr. He is a sharp brother out of Ghana.
I discovered him during the 3 coups in the Sahel region of Africa, super sharp brother.
I'll get the full interview in the coming days and post them here.

I used to like Wode, despite the Chinese chick. I have mixed feelings about the dude now. He said some shit in the wake of the Ethiopian Boeing airliner crash that didn't sit well with me. Can't quote his ass verbatim but it rang something like ... I'm not going to let this airline crash affect the way I travel because I know my god protects me and I have no need to worry about such things.

That's some callus shit to say cause it insinuates that the god of his beliefs saw 150 something people aboard that jet not as worthy of living as Wode is. Not worth his bothering to intervene for their lives but instead, only for Wode's. Nothing new. Religious people are quite adept at saying reckless, pompous and entitled drivel. I stopped following the guy after that. And Trudy is even worse. She's about as interesting and exciting as watching your fingernails grow. I do, however, think Africa owes a debt to the young man. He helped put African travel on the minds of many who otherwise may never have visited. And how did Africa thank him? I think it was Afro Think Tank who detailed how only one African country out of 54 ever bothered to invite Wode, at no cost, to visit and publicize their tourism offerings. I guess that's all one can expect since most African leaders couldn't find their own ass with a road map.

Then there's Tanzania. After all, Wode has done, they stopped him at the immigration desk. Started shit and decided on the spot to deport him! That's Africa! Things that are a way of life here, you just can't make up.
