WWE did do something like this, just a little different.
They had mixed gender tag matches during the pandemic. Only reason I remember is because Braun Strowman was teamed up with Ember Moon & she did the Eclipse off of his shoulders. Then, when she got hurt, Alexa Bliss replaced her & did the Twisted Bliss the same way. Both looked fucking crazy. Also, Miz & Asuka as a team was wild. They should've continued that story on the main roster.
The catch was, the women could attack the men (and they did) but the men never retaliated. It was always a tag to the other man & then the men went one on one.
I went back and watched this week AEW Dynamite like I always do!!..This week show was ok!!..Congrats to AEW for making it 5years on TV and also getting that new TV and Streaming Deal with WB Media/Discovery!!..This is a very good look for AEW!!.. 
.....I like that promo from the Blackpool Combat Club to open the show!!..That Ospreay vs Ricochet match was alright...I kinda knew how that match was going to be!!..Things got interesting when Takeshita came out!!...The match with Hangman vs Juice Robinson was good!!..Good to see Jay White is back!!..I like that match with Britt Baker vs Serena Deebs..I'm glad that they going to keep that feud going with Queen Aminata and Serena!!....Damn Shelton Benjamin had showed up to AEW!!...The last match of the show with Danielson vs Okada was ok...It got good at the end when the BCC showed up !!

@Mastermind2002 ..I really thought they were going back TNA!!..Once I saw MVP and now Shelton Benjamin showed up to AEW, I knew then that Bobby Lashley is on the way as well....
@Mastermind2002 , I agree with you!!..Takeshita should have already had a title at AEW!!..I hope TK do right by him this time...Also, if Ospreay lost his title...I won't mind see him and Kyle Fletcher go after the Tag Team Belts again and winning it!!..
No lie, I will be fucking pissed if they let Ricochet win this match and put the belt on him!!..That would be some BS!!..

Very good match. Probably the best match Toni has had since using the "Timeless" gimmick. Mayu is such a special talent. Another superb performance. In a neck to neck race with Sareee for wrestler of the year.
This is so Mayu. She'll have a great match with Toni Storm then do something like this.
Although she may not be the best in-ring wrestler in the world Toni does the best character work in the world.
Yeah, it wasn't good. Thekla isn't on Natsupoi's level and shouldn't be in a position to challenge Nat for the white belt in the first place. They need to build up Hanan and have her go after Nat.
My have times changed. Dump used to be booed and hated for hitting people with her kendo stick/cane. Now she's celebrated for it.
Now I got to watch this interview when it comes out.
It wasn't a classic but it was solid. They can definitely run it back in due time.
I'm loving what they're doing with Hazuki. Just don't put her in the "Hate" faction. Here her be a lone wolf in her heel run.
